I think there lowering our and raising there so to meet in the middle kinda of thing. We will never have it as low as there as we are ALL boy racers in there eyes! I'm just sticking with a 1400cc for a bit till it gets cheaper. Only paying £60 a month, didn't think that was too bad!

On my old Echo the vee was the best brake I ever had!
The set up was:
Heatsink adaptors
Heatsink cnc backings
Heatsink Red pads
Avid SD7 arms.
Avid SD7 lever
Cheapo Halfords cable
Rim was an Echo Urban (best rim IMHO)
One thing that I would have loved is a slightly narrower rim, as I couldn't really get them to sit square on the rim. But this didn't stop the brake that much, also with using a shitty cable it took a few days to get the cable to stretch but after a bit of adjustment it soon sorted that out. As for performance it was really good. Felt light, so eased arm pump, the brake had tons of hold. lacked a tiny bit of bite but I don't like that too much. found then to be a bit quieter than maggies too! which is a bonus
I have tried Tnn pads, the green ones. on the front of my mod and my god that was a good brake, bit tricky to slow down!!

There's a lot more differences than just the timing belt cover...
yeha I know there is! just at 1st glims! lol
-
Just the timing belt covers are different to the ones in a golf.
Its one thing thats putting my off a conversion is the wiring side. But just got to stick with it! Probably where many projects go to pot!

What's that out of? not a 1.8 is it? or an I being a tard?
In my car related-ness Have a Polo 1.4 (6n) and has drums on the back. Going to put the rear beam off a ibiza on some time soon (still up at the breakers) once I have it fitted and bled will I find out that I need the master cylinder off the Ibiza?
I would get the front brakes too but I'll need new wheels!!!

bit of a bump! but thanks! still a mint video!
Sharn.... I recognize that name... maybe trials-nation? use to have a black pashley? Or am I way off the mark here??

Other than that great riding!
Cheeky git!! lol hopefully my next one will be on a HD cam, and transferred via firewire, not shitty USB!

I was hitting the gym 3-4 times a week for about 6-7 months. and I didn't notice an improvement in my riding. Infact I seemed to be getting arm pump sooner. My diet changed too. instead of coke or fizzy drinks. I had at least 3/4 bottles of water. I did take supplements think at 1st I tried maximuscle, which tasted rank (and my farts stunk and general bad guts!!) but I noticed a difference in size of the muscles. Then I tried some PHD, choc chip cookie (very nice) and I didn't notice any change only the £20 difference in price! my diet is high in protein anyways... have chicken most days!
That was when I was training for rugby. but I didn't notice a different in that either so I stopped going. My riding has improved, and arm pump is a thing of the past.

Lovely looking bike. But as to the bar angle, if it works for him, awesome. I have tried it but felt too odd......

I have rode stock for 4 years then had a year out, got a mod.that took some getting use to. But after a month or two I got the nac back. Had a quick jump on an echo 24" and if felt really nice, only done a few hops about. Didn't feel too long or odd in any way. Might build on up myself

I have a pair of Ribos and there comfy, I got them off here and they looked brand new, used them every time I ride, they do need replacing as they have got a split but that doesn't really matter much to me.

When I'm at a comp I watch a few riders before hand and see what line they do. Then I always walk the section, to see if there's any little things that could throw me off. There is a time limit' but try taking you time' at your own pace. I do the tykes rounds and I've only ever cleaned a section once, i do the blue and its not nice when a 12 year old beats you if your at the next comp I'll come have crack.

I'll hopefully be there just depends on car hire, I don't have a car to its the only option. I'll bring the missus too if we can both get the weekend off!
