So for flesh tunnels do I have to get my ear pierced and have a stud for a while and then get it stretched or something? And with Lips can you get a ring straight off or do you need a stud first? How long would it take for a flesh tunnel to reach 5mm and how much approx would it cost?
Cheers guys

Pads: Heatsink Batch C's
Time used: Approx 8 hours good trials use
Rim used: EX721
Grind: No
Ceraminc: No
Brake used: Magura
What is your opinion of a working brake: I used to run a real solid brake to hold but now am using a slightly weaker brake.
How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Better than the usual maggy pads I've ridden with - Blacks and Kool Stops, also ridden bikes with monty milks and x-hyrda's. (All with out grinds but lotsa tar)
Review: I just wanted to post this as alot of people were asking me about them at the hampshire comp on Sunday! Im running a completely clean rim no tar no nothing! CLEAN! So when I put these pads on and they held as if they had tar on I was quite shocked! The pads hold superbly and make that satisfied squeek when they hold. Bad points have to be my brake is now wayyyyyy spongey due to compound compression occuring, still this is little to pay for the holding power. I am aiming to grind my rim soon and see about the wear rate as at the moment it has worn little but bedded in! Shame Steve doesn't make them as imo they are perfect for a clean rim.

wide bars
Pro:
good controle
opens up your chest, so can breath more air (dubious)
Con:
wider bars make you tired quicker (try doing press ups with your arms far apart)
can possibly snap easier
heavier
cant fit through tight areas
Narrow(er) bars
Pro:
ergonomic (to get a starter measurment, do a press up in the most comfortable position and measure how far apart your hand are)
lighter
less likley to snap
can fit in narrow areas
Con:
not as much controle
chest is more closed, so less air (again dubious)
I have found a happy comprimise at 27.5"
Certainly know your stuff! :P thanks but no position is comfortable to pressup :- yes I am very unfit! I might chuck some 26-24" bars on (The most comfortable pressup was at shoulder width apart so about 17.5" (Y)) so smaller would be better for me?

Hey guys long time since I posted a new topic!
1.Was just wondering the advantages and disadvantages of having wide bars?
2.I'm about to get my leeson and will be buying a pair of Ea70's and a Prodigy stem for it to replace the Brisa elite bar/stem combo I have at the moment. Will the Eastons be a welcome change on the Leeson or should I stick with my Brisa's?
