Well i guess the price plan helps.
In reply to Dr. Nick Riviera, i very much doubt that people want them so bad because they ipods are breaking. If they just want to combine then I'd assume its partly to do with the ipod craze that people get an iphone to save converting the media.
Still not answers though, they are a few linked reasons. What made the ipod so big to begin with, when they where HUGE and had really shit batteries?

You asked how to replace the pins, you've been told that generally the threads get ruined when the pins come out (lets face it, they dont become loose and unwind themselves fall out)
As long as your not worried about aesthetics, do what Joe said, drill and screw, its the cheapest option, can be re-done if need be, and you can have whatever length pin you want with a f**k off point for grip if you want lol

Can anyone help me understand why the UK has gone so mad over ipods and iphones??
Ipods may be pretty descent, but there are, and always have been plenty of cequal ompetitors?? Its got the the point where people dont actually realise that an ipod is a portable audio device like any other i.e. on a flight a while back they asked for us to turn off ipods and mp3 players, as if they are something different. Admittedly ipods are AAC players but can play mp3, like Sony use ATRAC, but the didnt say turn off you ACC ATRAC and MP3 players lol
Iphone's are exactly the same, they dont do anything other devices dont! Touch screen isnt new, music player on phone is old hat, and 3G isnt new either. so why the massive craze over them? Especially when they are soooo expensive?
I do however want an iphone myself, my reason being 11gb of music on a dying ipod. I also commute alot, so why carry phone and ipod when they can be as one. Reason for wanting Iphone over other phones/portable audio is i really dont want to re-import 100's of CD's (not all mine anyway) into another program.
Anyone able to enlighten me?

I wasnt aware you had it mate, being a newbie on this part of the forum. But im glad to hear your on the mend. My brother, Spencer-you know him, his friend had cancer, was quite a serious one, but he recovered after months of kimo etc, now he just laughs about it and his nickname is cancer joe lol. One of my Dad's mates has just been diagnosed with ''stomach'' cancer, assuming this is the same thing, but i'll be sure to tell him your success story when i see him.

He asked if I was American? clearly implying I'm stupid/the Amercians are and i'm one of them. In reply to this I effectively asked if he could read or not? as it was clear from me talking about amercians (not as an amercian) that im not american.
But anyway, it is September 11th 2008/11th September 2008, and I'm pretty sure this topic is supposed to be about what happen in NYC with the twin towers, not about the way in which the opposing sides of the atlantic express the date.

That was until Hobbsie passed away and I then began to understand how hard it is for close friends and acquaintances of that person.
As I can now relate to this I feel it would be horribly selfish of me to not say anything.

also if you don't find the office or peep show funny...you're probably not worth knowing. i find the older stuff like red dwarf shite, its just so obvious, the lines come and every time its just seriously underwhelming, its a vaguely enjoyable watch but nothing ever makes you piss yourself, its just boring
