  1. Hi all, definite newbie here. Done some road (speed thrills) enduro, trail and dirt jumping for quite some time but never trials.

I've jumped in the deep end and am in the process of fully converting my DJ gear to trials.

Luckily I have some of the basics down but not sure about the stress it will put on my wrists.

I had an op to repair a non-union scaphoid fracture which had to have a bone graft and metal pin which limits my range of movement slightly. Anyone else have any thoughts/advice?

Had this nearly 3 years already, changed a lot and done my best to make it as light as possible, got the right stem on, lighter tyres. Rides so good now.

Thanks everyone. Still driving me nuts, trying to decide. I saw that zoo on AliExpress for what looks like an amazing deal but I’m starting to think it’s a scam.

Personally, I've purchased items from AliExpress but never a bike. Never had any issues but it definitely does strike me as a shady eBay that's wishes it were Amazon...

That said, I have heard mostly positive things about jumpbikes.cn

  5. Personally I've gone for a custom built frame from Marino in Peru. This way I can adapt the geo to my needs.

The geo I went for is a mix between the Inspired Arcade, the Inspired Hex, and the Jitsie varial but based on 26" wheels. Longer reach with medium-high BB, slammed chainstays... And a seat!

If I were you and I was to go for a complete then it would definitely be either the Inspired Hex as a first choice and the Jitsie Varial 24" Hybrid as second choice. Remember, you can always roll the bars, get a longer stem, get higher-rise bars etc.

    FYI: I'm 6,1" and weigh 180lbs.

But when you want to get a Marino copy, you gotta know these tings!

Lol should've guessed that you would clock on to the reason why Ross ;p

to be honest I'm looking to combine different aspects of a few frames such as the Arcade, Hex and jump bike style. A bit of a 'do it all' frankenbike.

I'll still be using the bike for a small commute so simple little alterations like a built-in sprung chain tensioner to let me change the chainring on the fly will help massively.

If the hex was available as a frame-only option then that might've been an option...

  7. Hi all!

I would love to know the seat tube angle and seat tube length of the Inspired Hex. It's really hard to find a complete list of all geo specs for the Inspired range.

If anyone has one and could let me know that'd be awesome!

    Thanks!
