Planned for a ride today but was raining so though i might aswell get the camera out
Basically Have a T-Pro which i had been slowly building up to a good spec , then snapped i snapped the frame
Have a look around on forum for frames, and got this off AlexDavies which i am really happy with!
Rides so nice the Geo of the Le is the best i personally have ridden on a Mod!
Anyway cause i have jsust basically put my old bits on , any advice as to where i should go with the colour scheme ?
Let me know what you think!
Thanks Tom (Pics Below)
Specs To Come soon!

the steerer should bot about 0.5-1cm below the top of the stem. You may be able to get away with a tiny bit more depending on the stem.
Think its about 2cm when i measured it or jsut over
-
Get a long bolt, get it on, and hope for the best.....
(well thats what i would do anyway)
Yea that is what i have done, but am not sure if it will hold will try and get some pics today if it stops raining
Thought about getting a headlock ?I don't see how that would help ? As the steerer length is still to short for the stem...

Sorted i am defo in then!
Possibly! Weather dependingYea you are coming i want a go on your bike again
Will you do my a good price on the bars you are selling....

Basiaclly Have just got my new mod frame
But my new frame has a bigger external headset , therfore the stem will not go as far onto the forks as i would like.
When the stem is right down , i would say still 40% of the gripping bottom part of the stem has no fork in it.
Hope you can make sense of what i am trying to say.
Will it be ok over the long-term, or am i likley to start seeing problems when i start hooking etc...
Thanks for any advice Tom

sounds like the ratchet ring has stripped - send it back to hope - its a write off ....
on the plus side they used to do this sort of fixing for free ...
sadness , shows what trials does to bike parts i suppose.
Are hope like that then if i send it back, i hope if do fix it. See what i did there
Think a wanted post is in order...
is it this one... http://www.hopegb.com/voir_PXCAR_image__tgrandeimage_1.htmlyou could always ask for spares prices....
Yea it is that one i think! Not sure it is worth the hastle to be honest , is an old hub , but i hoped there was still life in the old dog

basically got a hope xc built onto a 26" try-all rim.
When i was riding it felt like it was sort of loosening up inside, and now the wheel jsut goes round and round even though it sounds like it is engaging.
I took it all apart and think that it is the shell inside the engaement points that is spinning when it should be fixed. as the point sound like they are engaging fine.
Anyone know how i can remove the shell ? Or how I can fix it , ir is it just a write-off
Thanks for any help Tom

Gu Le Stock or Mod? Got an Le Mod coming and i really cannot wait.
In my opinion they are the best Mod frame going, had a good few hours riding on my friend one , geo is really good as a smaller rider (only 5 6") , if you taller they are abit of a bugger to pedal hop!
In terms of the 26" Le, have had a few hops around on one of these aswell and the geo was once again outstanding. Was heavy and strong felt you could give it a good throwing around, without worrying about breakage.
Overall I would advise that you simply have a go on a frame before you buy one! I know its hard but i would strongly advise it. Without this you will never know if it is right for you!
Hope this helps Tom

Mate what exam board are you on? I am doing A-level computing and doing a similar thing, not sure if this is true.
But for me I had to base it on a specifc user, which is why i did not do a forum...
