  1. If customs do decide to tax you on them it'll be 22.5% on top of the cost I believe? That will still leave then cheaper than if you got them from here would it not?

It's probably going to be pot luck; Aspire do it by sending the invoice by email and putting "Bike bearings, $6" or something on the paperwork. Or they did when I ordered my headset from them.

That's obviously not allowed, and I don't think Profile will be up for that. May be worth a try though?

  2. Thats a nice gap, but why make a topic about it? Im sure people do gaps every day but dont post them on here. Not having a go, just saying. Anyways, nice (Y)

I haven't been posting here long, but I sort of thought that's what this thread was for, showing off the media you are proud of? Maybe I'm wrong, but again, I'm just saying. I'm not having a go or anything either.

Nice gap though, makes for a nice picture too. Keep it up! I can't imagine there are many riders where you are?

  3. Great vid. Nothing I didn't like; great riding, real nice compression, worth the wait for the excellent quality, and great music.

Was the second track a random one, or do Fallout Boy have two fans in the whole world?! :">

    Keep up the good work.

  4. I'm sorry, but I dont like it. Might look better in real life, but I just don't seem to be able to like it :)

Am i the only one that think its shit ugly?

Dropout's looking f**king sexual, but the rest :) Thing is, i love the Echo Hi-Fi, but really dislike this thing.

Each to their own i guess. Nice to see trials progressing though, especially that wierd seatpost top, with the hole horizontally.

Phew, :)" Thought I was going to be the only one to say I thought it was ugly.

I'm a sucker for Echo stuff; always liked the frames they put out, but I think this one looks like they tried to hard to make it original (which it isn't really).

    HiFi, Yes.

    This, Hell no.

  5. At least it's not long low and silver like everything else!

    Old skool :)

Funny how fast things change though, like someone said, ten years ago everyone would have fallen over themselves for that, now it's being psote don message boards as comedy bikes!

  6. Wow, lovely :)

Always loved 24" streety bicycles, and that is one of the nicest I've seen by far (yes I did say that on the last one that was posted).

Has anyone ever built a 24 that ISNT black? I sure haven't seen one.

  7. Wow, impressive stuff. He's crazy smooth.

Was weird watching a video with no music, but I got used to it, and it was real interesting to watch.

Anyone tell me what frame that was, maybe I should have, but I didn't recognise it.

What with the lack of music, and the scarily smooth quiet riding, it almost made me feel like I had to whisper while I was watching it! >_<

EDIT: Just bastardised the vid and watched it with We Become Silhouettes by The Postal Service playing over it. Worked ok and didn't ruin the mood too much I thought. Anyone else got any suggestions for tracks that work well with it?

  8. Spraying things aint hard..u just gotta have abit of patience...

Wait for my new topic >_<"

Sure it's not. And all the frames I've seen sprayed on here have been done very well. But I have seen some home-painted frames that look really terrible. A friend of mine trying to spray an unsanded frame luminous orange in the rain for example :turned:

What colour did you go for? Or is it a secret? Look forward to seeing it.

  9. Curse Onza for trying to release a frame that isn't long low and silver! >_<

Looks real good; real professional, but you've made it look exactly the same as a lot of other frames! Ah well, it works.

When you say polishing, do you mean it the same way that you'd polish something made of brass; in that if you run your finger over it, it'll smudge? Or is this a more permanent 'polishing'?

  10. Yum.

Those bikes always look rather BMXy to me, but it's nice to see something new and non long-low and silver. Always liked 24"s, and that's one of my favourite for sure. Nice work >_<

  11. Just watched the vid, and I enjoyed it a lot.

The editing was good, very relaxed mood, and the quality/filesize ratio was real good compared to some I've seen on here.

And it looked like you were having fun riding, which is what we are all here for. Nice work, I look forward to seeing more. :)

Was nice to see someone else riding a Woodman too. First one I've seen in a video.

I'm also very interested in how you run your brake, I'll keep an eye out for the thread. Which bike were you riding in the video? I was looking for some dual lever action, but didn't catch any.

  12. As far as I'm aware, as of the summer just gone, the largest drop LANDED was 48ft, by both Josh Bender and Tyler Klassen.

The largest drop TRIED was the Jah Drop, which you are talking about, which was 65ft, and is featured in NWD1, the original try, and then NWD2 as well when he tries it another three or so times.

So unless I've missed out on an awful lot (possible), 100ft is quite a lot out.

  13. :P Very cool. Nice and chilled out. Not one to get you hyped for a ride, but definitely one to unwind to.

Not a hiphop fan myself, but does go very well with the vid; wouldn't have noticed I didn't like the music if it hadn't been for the comments on here. Fits very nicely.

Damn jealous of the spots though :)

  14. Liking that. Haven't seen many new vids in a while, and it was nice to see something fresh. Some nice riding (I liked the lines across the fountain thing) and some great spots too.

Do you have a translation, or an explanation, for the lyrics to the second song? Weird stuff! :P

  15. Look at the difference between the original Echos or Onzas, and look at them today. They've got to keep moving forward to keep selling parts.

You say they shouldn't change them when the 2004s are superb. I bet people said that about the 1995 frames when the 1996 ones came out. Look at them now!

  16. this is just how similar they really are!

*# this picture was posted by 'simon' when the saracen and diamondback first came out somewhen last year #*

Hehe, very good. Looks rather suspicious, but I bet a lot of similarish popular frames would match up similarly. Bottom end bikes don't have much scope for originality so tend to stick with tried and tested methods.

    Still an interesting comparison.

Doesn't it defy the point a little of a company having pro riders riding for them, and using custom designed frames, unavailable to everyone else, made fora bout ten times the cost of the market frames?

Doesn't benefit their building reputation all that much. Especially when it's a well known fact Hawyes is riding a Koxx.

  17. Anyone got any prices on this new stuff?

It all looks rather tempting, and if it's not much more than the 04 stuff was, could be a big success. (Based on glossy photos posted on the company's own website of course)

  18. ElastoMania is the only one worth playing. For a while it was the only game installed on the computers at college. Very addictive. We used to finish all the demo levels before lessons started :">

  19. i was thinking that, but after snapping an ET, and making a 24" PX the style is getting a little dull.

OT: What frame did you use for that?

I'd say the Python would do it, that's the best option I can think of. Or maybe the Revell? I only rode it briefly, and am unsure on the geom, but it just sprung to mind. Feel free to shout me down for it :">

Blasphemous suggestion; Considered maybe keeping a stock bike and purchasing a BMX for your little wheeled street fantasies? I wouldn't say mod makes it any easier to hop far, so that may be a wasted venture, and BMX is about as 20" street as I can think of if you leave out the gappage.
