  1. Thanks, but it shouldn't be a problem. I guess it would have made sense if I'd checked before I ordered! The only one bigger I could see was the RB Designs, but at 101mm, I still think that might need a bit of a filing. Will give it a go tomorrow, what's the worse that can happen ;)"
  2. I hijacked my own thread :"> Oh well, filing it out looks like it'll work, so this can be locked/deleted if necessary. Thansk for the tip. I was thinking bend, heat up, everything except file!
  3. There's an idea. I've got about 8mm of spare metal, could be doable. [offtopic]Congratulations on becoming a Dad, I presume there's a thread somewhere but haven't seen it, so congrats[/offtopic]
  4. Just got my Echo 4 Bolt booster from Tarty, gone to fit it, and my (Woodman) frame is too wide :P It's about 1mm too wide, I can get the bolt in but only cross threaded. Wondering if anyone knows which boosters are wider than this, I presume there are some, the Woodman isn't the widest frame in the world (That's why I didn't bother to check before I ordered). Preferably ones that still exist/can be purchased. Still hear talk of Threshold boosters, and I'm still yet to actually see one. Cheers, Leigh EDIT: RB Designs booster is 1mm wider, think that'll be enough to go from squeezing a cross thread to fitting?
  5. We do, but they did build us a new college, so we can't complain really. Anywho, back on topic...
  6. Thanks for the other link, what an idiot I am :"> Looks good though, let's hope this one is a little longer than Manifesto was! I second him being damn cool though, he's so smooth (N)
  7. Malleus Maleficarum - AFI. I never have any idea what their lyrics are until I read them either. Seems so clear when you read them along with the singing though!

    Nass Results

From what I gather, a "tie break" situation was decided by riding the freestyle course in a set path, as chosen by Ot Pi.
  9. I don't see why it doesn't have Olympic appeal. Well, compared to skateboarding or vert BMX; it's not an extreme sport. It has rules, and can be judged quantitatively, so it'd work as a competitive event, like most of the others. But I agree on not wanting it to be featured in the Olympics, not sure why, just don't like the image of it being an international olympic event. (Y)
  10. I wouldn't say the weight was a huge issue there. People may disagree, but there are much more substantial variances between other parts; forks, tyres etc. I use the ones that come with the ODI Lock-On kits, and they've always done me fine. They are a bit battered now, but that's what they are there for!
  11. I had a 45 second wait, am I right in assuming that count goes up with more downloads? First time I've downloaded from here, getting average speeds. Will edit when finished. EDIT: Wow, that was great to watch. I didn't get any shaking, ran real smooth. Was nice to see a video a little different from "look how high I can tap and sidehop". It had everything... except a helmet :)" (Y) First of your videos I've seen, I look forward to seeing others.
  12. Please let that stupid 3D animated man be just for the trailer (Y) I hope so, I mean, he's been a bit mean with his trailers in the past.
  13. One and Two Two piccys of matt black knifens for you. I had a pair before, didn't have any trouble with them really, heavy, but damn strong, only thing was the laquer all cracked and made them look all scaley, that was on the chrome ones and could have been something to do with the batch or my poor upkeep of my bikes!

    Power?

Just been doing some reading on Plyometrics, and it looks interesting. I guess that's what TRA is doing in that old vid where he's jumping with weights on his back? Anyone tried these exercises and noticed any difference? I was always for just progressing by improving technique, but stuck upping stupidly small walls for a long time, maybe a little extra power would do me some good? Anyone like to have a guess at the technique-strength ratio? I'd probably place it as high as 85-15?
  15. I remember reading about Mr Holroyd riding with SPDs for his first year or so of trials? Don't remember where, anyone else see it? I seem to recall him not thinking it was a good idea, and I'd agree  Not even as a little 'experiment' I don't think!

    Vp Pedals

Mine got completely destroyed, both cages bent and snapped, but only because I didn't keep the bolts tight and they fell out, leaving nothing to stop it bending. Got a new set, kept em tight, and had no problems. Can't fault them for the price really!

    Crc

It's cool to see them expanding, but I'm with the "It's only three pictures of a big empty barn" crew. An increase in CRC's efficiency will be amazing to see though, I already rated them number one for delivery times. I presume the picking will be the same as Argos too (I guess I'm not the only one who's worked there then!), but not sure exactly how, I mean, the order volume can't be nearly as high, so how many staff do you think they employ? To afford that warehouse (bigger than our Argod store by far) they must be pretty large, but I can't imagine them needing many staff, but at the same time I can't see one guy picking from that huge building!
  18. Lever: Standard Magura Calipers: Standard Magura Hose: Magura black Bleed with: Shimano Oil Brake mounts: 4 bolt Pads: KoolStop :( Rim: Planet X BMF, little tar, stained with brake spray residue Booster: none
  19. When I saw where it was hosted, I was waiting for the barrage of people begging for it to be Shacked, then I remembered... B) Anyway, 1.2kb/s, will edit when finished! EDIT: Not good to see. That's why we should wear helmets! Glad to see you're ok though.
  20. I get perfect speeds from BitTorrent with well seeded files. The thing is, it wouldn't be as reliable as other places; Shack you know you'll always get decent speeds. Een you know you'll always get poor speeds. If we set up a BitTorrent page, which I'll well up for helping out with, the popular vids; Cultivated, SelectBikes, CLS etc would have decent speeds because lots of people want them, but people sharing their own videos will struggle a lot. But ti's definitely worth looking into, anyone else agree?
  21. Nice stuff. Always some weirdos that take things way too serious! Something new to enjoy though. The uni flip thing on the table was damn cool.
  22. You fall at the same speed no matter how fast you are moving forwards. I get your point, but you know, it's late, I can pick. Me and a few mates have tried "booning" just for a laugh because it's hard and none of us can do it. I never realised it had a practical use. Can anyone explain why you'd want to?
  23. John, Milan 4. Just watched it though again, slower, and it appers I didn't succumb to the subliminal messages :( Would have been interesting if it had worked, but it appears it did for some people.
