  1. Looks stunning mate. Really nice colour combo. I got the sp51 outer cable as I was putting in an order with tarty and was in stock 👍 and don’t worry there is no chance of me doing foot jam whips 😆
  2. I’ve ordered the Jitsie pads for the BB7. Will let you know how they are in the coming week or so 🙂
  3. Mike! It’s been a long time! I spoke to Tim and he told me you were still riding albeit a few thousand miles over the pond. That’s proper dedication that 😛 Great to see you are still making videos too. I’m extremely rusty but I hope you’ll consider me for a roll in the latest Damnation 😮‍💨😂
  4. Thanks for the pad link mate, I’ve just ordered some. I’m going with the BB7 200mm and SD7 lever in the end. I’ll let you know how I get on. TMS? I’ve just had to google that as I’m not familiar with them. They look really nice and clean. Had a look on your profile for a picture but couldn’t find one.
  5. Thanks for all that. It’s really helpful. You’ve got to see from my point of view when I was riding trials regularly 15 years ago, I was up to date with what works well and where my money was best spent. Now however I’m unaware about all these new brands and what people are using these days or what products are working best. I’ll drop an update when I make the purchase. I think I’m going to go Avid BB7 with 200mm (8 inch) rota and SD7 lever. As for the pads, it’s really a stab in the dark for me so maybe go with the Organic pads. Any tyre recommendations would be greatly appreciated also. Thanks.
  6. Thanks for the reply. Great to hear you are back riding. It’s funny you mention the Avid BB7 as I used an Avid cable disk brake prior to stopping riding some years ago and it was very reliable. Do you have an idea what rota size would be best (or would fit)? 180mm or 200mm?
  7. Just bought a used Echo Pure after a 15 year break from trials 😂. I believe it is the 2013 model but could be 2011/12? Condition is almost new with just a couple of small marks. I'm hoping the trials community may be able to make some recommendations for a new front brake as the Clarks one just doesn't seem to have the stopping power. Also a front and rear tyre recommendation would be greatly appreciated. Apart from that I just plan to take things slow and build my confidence back up but most of all enjoy it as that's what it's all about!
