  1. As a snack, but not really a proper lunch, get some noodles, chicken flavour or whatever, and throw some cheese in with them, i like cathedral city . If your more hungry than that, maybe chop some tomatoes etc and throw them in aswell as the sweetcorn.

Or a ommelette Piss easy to make and you can throw anything in it

  2. Whats with everyone using shit software these days. What happened to bloody drag and drop? I mmyself want a new mp3 player, and the new nano would be perfectly sized etc, but I REFUSE to use itunes as it is THE shittest program ive ever had to use.

  3. Why do you want 4 speakers?! Music was never recorded to be listened to in that manner. Its recorded in stereo, ie a left and right channel.

    You dont want 4 speakers.

If you get bookshelf speakers your gonna want them on stands, so they dont take up any less room really. If your finding distortion at high volumes, you need to consider a few things. First, what is your source? A IPOD? A pc? or a CD player? If your answer is a CD player, and your using REAL CDs not blag ones, then you need a beefier amp.

  4. Basically I got my phone nicked, so rang o2 and they blocked the phone and sim. Sent me a new sim out with the same number. Ive put it in my phone, and it just says "sim registration failed" ??? Any ideas. They close at 9pm so I cant ring. Could do with this phone working tonight, any ideas???

  5. just a quick note to make lee look less of a gay chav, the m3s and lexus lights are only costing him 30quid, he already needs a new wingmirror anyway, so whilst hes at it he may as well have something a little prettier for feck all money more :) and corsas look gay either way, so it doesnt matter :P

i think rear comps are very much needed, i prefer having a nice all round sound, its also good when you have passengers in the back, cos they get some volume too, without having just the sub pound them into pulp/give them a heart attack, ive got 17cm comps all round (tweeters in the doors) and it sounds great, with a sub to support them with the lower frequencies itll sound whoresome :) (thats when i bother to put a sub in :P )

my old cav had (well, still has) front comps and a sub and it doesnt sound quite right, nor does my friends car with a sub and just rear 6x9s, infact thats the most godawful setup ive ever heard....but he loves it :S

so yeah, surround sound wins in my ears :P

surround sound huh?what decoder you using etc?

when do you ever go to a gig and the band is playing behind you?

you have to take into account, if you have shit speakers that arnt amped up front, OF COURSE your just gonna hear boom boom boom

this is why topics like this go nowhere, people are comparing their £50 systems to other peoples £500 systems

  6. Good argument.

What sub/amp you got? And what front end etc? What ways is there for bass to enter the cabin? What size are your mids?

If you find seperation, the better way to resolve that woul dbe go have a 3 way front end, but obviously it involves a lot me more/effort. Fading to the rear slightly will yes, stop the seperation, but the sound stage is being dragged backwards. What crossover points are you using?

    Not arguing, just intrested

  7. I seriously cant stress how much difference an amp makes to a speakers performance. Head unit will kick out around 20w rms, and most speakers are rated to at least 50wrms. You ideally want to over power speakers with the amp. S0 50wrms speakers with 75wrms amp. Its called headroom. Basically the further the volume goes up on a amp, more chance it has of producing a clipped/distorted signal. If your well withing its range, ie. 50 out of 75 wats then you will get a clean signal right up to full volume :)

Dont bother with rear speakers, if your front end is as strong as it should be, you dont need them, especially in a car as small as a corsa. Sell all the wings and mirrors and shit and put the money into something you will actually be able to enjoy and not look like a chav with!

sign up on talk audio and get these http://www.talkaudio.co.uk/vbb/showthread.php?t=187592

wont do better for that price

  8. If your not amping the front speakers, no you wont need a wiring kit, just the adapter for the head unit/car. Can you not go 2nd hand? Mainly for the head unit?

to be honest I had those speakers and ended up taking them back. Very tinny sounding i thought. Do they have to be 5.5in?

  9. This man has the right idea, in my 106, i have got a 10" sony sub, with a shark 1000 watt amp (£80 for the two, and i made the box myself to the size sony recomend) I have 120W blaupunkt speakers in the rear (about 30W RMS) and 80W JVC speakers in the front (about 25 RMS), running from a pannasonic head unit.

I did this setup on a budget, and no, its not the loudest "bad ass" system in the land, but i, along with many of my mates think my set up sounds nicer than my mates £200 subs which were already in a twin sub box when bought, with a 2000W amp, and 6x9's on the parcel shelf, and standard ford door speakers, both of which are running off the head unit. If you want to listen to music, you dont need loads of power or money, but look for things that will work well together, rather than big power ratings.

I dont no if this will have helped. but thats just my 2p

    Alex.

That sounds like a recipe for disaster!

  10. Just in the way you thought you were being clever ^^^ although ever other person knows what im saying, of course lexus lights look great on a lexus.

And the M3 mirrors, I was taking the piss, refering to the fact that he doesnt have a M3, yet is putting m3 mirrors on it

  11. Just do a search for car audio on here please. These been a thousand topics stating why what you want to do is wrong. So its gonna look like every other corsa in the world then? Who in their right mind thinks lexus lights look good?! And how are you gonna make mirrors from a M3 fit a corsa? lol
