Helicoiling is pretty cheap down here at Singapore. I had mine done its great! Cost me around SGD$8 per thread. Thats around 3 quids or you could get a DIY set with 10 helicoils in it plus the tools to do it - Cost SGD$50. 80 quids ? That's just insane.

hey remember i broke my fork recently? Now i'm back with new upgrades! Shall show it off here and boast about how cheap they are. Zoo Fork Gold Front Viz disc hub laced onto drilled DM24 XT Cranks with gold bash Rear Tioga Rims laced onto CHRIS KING Classic Sram Rocket gripshift Connex chain All for SGD$230 that's about 75 quids. Can conventional mtb hubs' shaft fit? for example deore?

the future of trial bikes. High bb: Lets you master balance. Reach higher stuff. Bash less. Low standover. and SINGLESPEED: No more stupid rear mechs which we hardly use and adds on weight. No more bouncing derailleurs and slapping chains. Integrated booster I think the gold one looks the best. Even the hope moni mini goes so well with it. (N) i guess its only lackin rear disc tabs.. :unsure:

ahh. I machined a ALUMINIUM one and it snapped in one ride!!! My advice to all: NEVER use alu shafts. Never.

I snapped my echo fixed hub shaft. I'm wondering if i have to machine a new one or can i just buy a mod shaft? issit the same length?

hey .. Thanks for the comments. I'm using a zoo urban (or echo? came with stock pitbull) . I don't know too but i guess its already weaken from all the riding.

http://www.batch.org/ anybody check out their trials bike? its really nice.! saw a stock frame with chinese characters cut out from gussets and even an integrated mini seat which is welded on to the frame there's even a ti mod..! and check out the plasma coating.. its really beautiful..! err.. am i overeacting or really outdated ? i hope not.. :P
