I didnt revise as much as i should of at GCSE, but still came out happy! Just wait till you guys get to A2 like me, my first exam is on Tuesday, and i can't get into the swing of revision fully, but im doing the hours.I found compared to AS, GCSE's were so easy, but the more you revise the better you will get, and thats the same in any year.

Looks nice, the Gusset grips just take the bike to the next level, how does it ride?

Hey Guys
My rear Profile hub has broken. I can move the cranks foward freely without any resistance so something must have snapped inside of it. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? And if Profile would allow me to send it back because i bought it off a mate and its a few years old. Or if I should just take it to a bikeshop to have a look at, because it could be cheaper than posting the whole wheel off, though i have no idea about labour costs.

Im doing my A2's this year, and i think revision is essential, i didnt do any for my AS's last year and payed the price, thank god for resits though.
I just copy and make notes from the textbook, then go through after the section and highlight the key parts. I find it helps a lot because its like rehersal (for those who do Psychology).
But yeah my advice is revise, for GCSE's it shouldnt matter too much, but as you go up the years its adviseable.

-No Seat
Simply cos i just think thier pointless, even if you get a mini trials seat they are just as uncomfortable as sitting on your frame, if you have a post without a seat it can look ugly, but if i were you id stay away from them.
But i guess its each to their own.

Is it possible to Convert my Hope XC (front) to the bolt axles you see on the Pro2 and other hubs?

I would love to watch it, and comment on it but it keeps stopping about 3 seconds in.
I have seen you ride before and if on the video you are as good then it will be realy good

You have to let the whole video buffer before you can stream it on the page, sp be patient!

ive seen this, i was with you in bits when you filmed it, remember on a leeds ride when me and my mate Jon stayed back with you and your mate in leeds uni campus. Really nice vid, music matches it well.

try not using your front brake? i had to for a while, increased my balance on small things a shit load.
yeah i try that sometimes, ive been meaning to buy a Disc for ages, just never saved up money as it burns a hole in my pocket! and ive never had a job...

Avid BB7 anyday, the bite may be better on the Hydraulics in the short term, but from personal experiance i would reccomend the BB7, due it being a lot cheaper, and has a better life expectancy and you wont be faffing around with re-bleeds. Go for the Pro 2, its just £8 more than the XC, and its 21grams lighter, but im not sure if you would notice that much weight differance. I think they look better aswell personally.

I ride most days just to practice things like balance, and i am currently trying to learn a new move, so im doing that a lot. I only go out on rides like once or twice a week locally or in city centre, i wish i could go more but i have too many other commitments. I try to practice on the street at reasonable times, because im running a V-brake on the front, and its really loud! (louder than my Magura) so after 6 i dont go on the street.

I went to Shipley Glen today, so i dont really want to go there two days in a row, though it was good today, it was my first time riding natural, and though my rear brake was awful i really enjoyed it, prefered it to street to be honest.

woah... either you want to be validated and think that this is going to help, or your just stupid, how is this topic in anyway helping you to get validated? by posting this topic i reakon the moderaters arent going to look at you again for some time. All you have to do is just add you knowladge to the forum as best as you can, and wait patiently to be noticed.

I know this is very short notice, Only decided in the car on the way back from Shipley Glen today, but does anyone fancy riding in leeds tomorrow?

I do a spinning class every thursday! and i belive that has improved my stamina a lot, as i used to get tierd on rides quickly, but have noticed improvments, i do some free weights and machines every so often, but im no regular to it, so it hasnt had a big impact on my riding.
-
Well if we come it will be more like 10 or 11, because i cant stay all day due to having AS resit revision to do. Where abouts do you want to meet as we have never ridden there before, and are also natural virgins!

How old is your brake? Because you may need to bleed it again? Check that the pads are both moving, or as lame as it sounds check the positioning of your pads in relation to the rim, and if your fluid is old then they wont pull or return that well.

I have a Toxsin 1 sprayed Luminous pink! but im trying to get rid of it because im looking for something shorter.

Hey guys, depending on my results in August i should hopefully be going to Hull Uni to study Business (international) and i was wondering if there are any riders there at the uni at the moment?
I need to find this out before, so i know whether to take my bike or not.
