Another vote for trialtech foam grips. Very much enjoy being able to ride without gloves. My installation technique:
1. Spray a thin layer of 3M Super77 adhesive onto the bar where the grip will sit. Let it dry for about 5 minutes, so it is dry but still tacky.
2. Pour some rubbing alcohol down the inside of the grips, and put them on the bar - they should just slide on.
3. Let it sit for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
4. Put some tape on the ends of the grips (both sides) to keep moisture out.
To remove. just peal the ends of the grip up with a screwdriver and pour some rubbing alcohol in.
I also have some ODI lockon clamps just inside the grip to prevent it from slowly sliding in over time. Haven't found this to be a problem, but figured better safe than sorry.
You should go into detail next time Jon....
I have to say over all the grips i've my favorite has been roadie tape. No slip, as thick or thin as you like, and it conforms to your hands.

The RB blades themselves could be used almost as a direct replacement though couldn't they? Keeping the standard Maggy lever body and so non-leakiness.
Not sure. Hopefully Stocktrials will chime in, he has had several on his bike with varying results.
-
Fair call I guess.
-
The older style RB levers were prone to leaks. Not unlike a dengura. Not sure about the newer style ones though.

Yeah its just a matter of fixing the problem I guess. Admin is so busy with real jobs etc at the moment he doesnt have time to sort it.
Hopefully wont be too far off though!
Have you guys considered a quick reply box, or am I just missing it?

I guess we only got the dumbarse refugees from here at OTN. Glad to see not all of you are like that.
Thanks for the welcome!

Reasonable spelling etc.
Nice work.

That looks seriously awesome. Very nice job.

It's weird to see you without your powers
It's really quite liberating.
-
Gone again now, likely for a while.
For everyone that dislikes the people on the site, you will unfortunately/fortunately have quite a few refugees coming here now!
-
Looks great. Nice one.

No one said it improved movement or riding, just comfier to ride in.
I guess if you dont really care about riding better, or moving more easily then thats ok.
Go for it girly boy!
-
Up until about page 3 I thought you guys were just being sarcastic.
Do you guys actually wear skinny jeans while riding trials? Seriously?
How could anyone argue that it improves movement/riding? My god i've just been hit in the face by the stupid stick.

Hey guys. This just got cross posted at observedtrials.net, and I just wanted to express my sympathy for all the crew that knew him, and for his family.
Its a horrible thing to hear of young people dying, especially trials riders.
Our collective trials hearts go out to the crew in the UK.
Cheers,
Tobe.

Very nice vid indeed.
Would I be right in thinking that Andrei Burton won a trials competition in MBUK many years ago?

A very nice vid indeed. Great to see some sections from the BIU.

Lets dispense with the political dicussion and get back to good old BLACK COCK.
Anyway, OTN will be down for a good while I think.
Hey Tomturd, can we has an "OTN refugees" thread/section?
