Erm ok, how do I convert the files? (think most of mine are .avi/.mpeg) Any good free software to download? I've searched on Google but there seem to be loads of different ones, not sure which is best really so any advice would make it a lot easier

I use DVD Shrink to cop DVDs, when I actually have the original DVD, and have had no problems with this.
But what I need to know is, how do I make a DVD from movies I have on my hard drive? Ive looked throuigh DVD Shrink's help files, but dont think that's really what the program's for?
Anyone know the best programs to use, or any sites with advice etc, would be great

OK ive sent a message to a mate, that was meant for a different person - nothing terrible but its spoilt tonight's lil suprise for him. Anyway, is there any way of somehow unsending the message, unlikely i know but i thought POSSIBLY there's a way? I'm gonna phone o2 (my network), see if there's anything they can do but not exactly expecting them to be able to help.

How do loads of yours seem to have really small dots? When I did mine tehyre pretty big, and so it only looks any good from miles away. When it gave me the choice ofsie the smallest was 7mm (Y) And im sure most of yours look smaller than that?? Any ideas??

I'm editing a vid at the moment, getting towards being finished, finally! (Y)
BUT, I want to have 2 clips playing at once, sort of overlayed, I'm sure ive seen it done well before. But wheever I do it, it looks...shit, basically. Ive done it by just changing the opacity of the 2 clips, is there a better way?
Maybe some way of having clip A only showing through certain parts of clip B, e.g. where clip B is darker? Something like that? Like I said Im sure I've seen it done well so hopefully someone can help

Yeah I've tried Google and anywhere else I coud think of (e.g. tried finding any forums) but not really found anything I've been AMAZED by (i.e. worth printing out on bout 20 sheets). so just thought Id see if anyone here knew any decent sources, or any of their own favourites etc.

I'm after some decent surfing photos, nothing specific really just anything you think looks good, I just cant seem to find any decent quality ones anywhere. So yeah, could anyone with any please post them up? Or linnks to find better quality ones if they're huge? Also, any decent online galleries or anything similar would be good too, cheers

Think this may be a shit idea, but how about just a good card then hire a film you'll both like, or something similar? Seems kinda thoughtful to me, and showing u want to spend time with him! Or could just be a very poor idea, I am quite tired...

I use www.oneandone.co.uk for domains, never had any problems and theyre always really helpful, think a .co.uk is £2 per year
Then for hosting try www.web-mania.com , Ive heard lots of people reccommemnd them and I bought a years hostage (for £20) a bit ago, although not really used it much yet so cant comment too much...

I've just re-discovered the awesome-ness of Opeth - Benighted after looking through my music file. I'm not a fan of much heavy music, hence not really into much of their other stuff (although i've just listened to Patterns in the Ivy and Harvest and like those).
So yeah, any decent tracks by any other artists? OIr just artists in general, anything similar to Benighted!
