  1. No shit? However, it does bring in money, which allows you to afford to:

    pay bills

    pay rent

    buy food/drink

    buy bike stuff

Which is pretty much what I want. It's just for a year anyway 'til I decide if I actually want to go to uni at all.

go on mark be a postie. since your staying round here i'll get to see you look silly in the silly uniform, well, cant be any worse than the somerfield one. i mean sieriousley who puts navy orange and turquoisy green together :)

  2. My Dad got done for speeding on his road bike going down that hill :)

  4. If a fork requires a headset to turn, shouldn't it be sold with a headset?

If a crank requires a BB to spin on, shouldn't it be sold with a BB?

Your arguement makes no sense :- You don't get bashguards with all frames in the same way you don't get headsets, BB's, stems, bars, forks, etc. with new frames. You're buying the FRAME, not the FRAME AND A BOOSTER?

ye but mark you dont need a booster for the brake to work in the way you do a headset for the fork to turn etc, it just improves preformance. i dont think a frame should crack because of the absence of a booster. maybe im wrong who knows :P

  5. What? How is it 'a bit random'?? Perhaps he pulled on the freehub, perhaps the axle is snapped? I get fed up with people using the world 'random' when describing things that aren't in any way random. Go and read a book on Chaos theory.

well, i guess it is random, my freehub body doesn't fall off every day without warning, i would probably say it was random that it came off. i am aware of the real meaning of the word but people change the meaning due to the context the words used in. calm down :P

  6. yeah but its the top end bikes that make improvments in bike design and (eventualy) those design ideas show through in lower level bikes, dmr bikes are relitivley cheap and feel lush on jumps :P

no, dmr's are average price and yes they do feel good on jumps

but brand x frames feel better and are only 70 quid

    shock horror :-
