I'm up for that lesson, I kinda tried them a bit before but nearly killed myself by tapping the front wheel into the wall a bit to hard!!
Really hurt my nuts. (Y)

But if you fall off, we can still laugh!! (Y)

A little too much by the sound of things? Stop breaking things then.

just go for something fairly cheap like shimano tigra or sora short cages they do the job and you dont cry too much if you hit them (Y) there about £15-£18 from most bike shops
As for the cassete just go for something with a range from bout 21t to 12t then you have a nice range of gears at a reasonable weight. again shimano sora, tigra and 105 are good bets and can be got in 7, 8, and 9 speed i belive and are about £18
So you can get a good setup for about £40 (Y) just add a thin KMC kool chain and your away :P
Hope that helped Gavin
Yeah pretty much what he said.
I run a sora mech, 8 speed cassette starting at 25 tooth going down in 2's and XT shifter.
Don't spend loads cos you will break it. I have already broken 2 mechs and a shifter. Go wiith cheap and cheerful.

Hey guys, Just rang Fastcat, they say the ferries will be running as normal from tonight (Friday) and so on sunday they should be fine. So it looks like its gonna be fine.
I will ring them again tomorrow just to check but go on the fact that the ride is still ON unless I post anything else.
Catch you there.
Harry

Yeah some of you may have noticed, the Fastcat is no longer running due to having it's licence suspended.
I think they are getting other ferries in to cover the missing boats so I think were fine. The website is not very clear.
Can't take the car ferry cos it doesn't go to ryde, maybe the hovercraft but it's only 3 bikes at a time but it runs every 30 mins.
If you can call them on 08705827744 please do, ask them if the ferries are running as normal on sunday, if not find out the times around 11 am and the last ferry back.
I am trying but can't through yet. If you do, let me know and i'll post it up here and let the others know. my number 0779130092
I will keep you updated, any problems, call or txt me.
Cheers

Hey man,
Nine times out of ten it is the cranks arms are loose. Get the old 8mm allen key out and that ll sort it. Very common with cheap cranks such as FSA Power pro's. I used to have them but now have Middleburns which are much better.
If its not that take off the crank arms(Crank puller/Crank arm extractor) clean and regrease all the threads etc in and around the Bottem Bracket and crank arms. Re assemble, Jobs a goodin.

Yeah sounds cool.
Should be able to bring a few others along to from fareham and portsmouth.

I'm up for that, definately. Be nice to get out after 2 weeks in Greece. Let's stay away from traffic-boxes though (Y)
Haha, yeah that might be an idea!!! And maybe someone should bring some spare parts, hmmm maybe a brake lever? :D"

Starting at sandbanks for some street/Naturalish (Near Poole/Bournemouth) gonna get a few hours riding and then drive to Kimmeridge(West of Poole/Bournemouth) for some Natural rocks by the sea.
You will need a car to get to and back from Kimmeridge, it's miles away.
Come along and bring others if you can.
