  1. Ahh fair enoght no 48kb is fine lol i didn't think to look at the size of it just ashumed because it took awhile to load was big.

Should have asked first really i just ashumed you had done somthing silly like having each bean as a different image rather than the same image dupluicated.

48kb is really good considering the quality of the graphics are really good.

  2. Just wondering whats the intension of this advert by this i mean wheres it going to be used.

Only reason i ask is because at the moment I know i am on a shared connection with the others in the house about 4 of us using internet at the moment but it didn't load as fast as an internet banner/advert should.

This means other websites wouldnt use this and also means its going to slow down what ever website you do put it on so my advise would be to look at what you could do to make it speed up reduce the size of some of the images or somthing.

  3. oi leave my burger nips out of this :P

Yeah my ankle i did pissing about in school used to be able to frontflip off my feet from standing and thought would be a good idea to try this with a run up see how high i could go on whats a pretty high and step bank landed on the slope ankle rolled and twister meaning my leg carried on and just hitt the floor. shattring all of it hahaha i broke my tiber, fiber and the other bone cant remeber there names lol but was abit off a mess couldnt operate for 6 days either not fun.

  5. Hey mate,

Software side your best bet is Adobe Dreamweaver its industry standard and you have both the design option and the coding option on it. Meaning you can just simply design the site and dreamweaver does most of the coding for you or you can code the site yourself and dreamweaver will give you coding hints. With it being Adobe software as well you can get loads of plug-ins for it to help you out as well espcailly for the e-commerce side of things when you are looking to sell.

Only down side is its price at £393.62 to buy the full package.

    I dont use any other software so cant say how good they are but there are programes like;

Microsoft Frontpage which is mainly a coding package - Microsoft Frontpage

And A whole load of others made by smaller companies here - Google Results

Getting a site online i can also help with but as for now i have to go to work so will post again later with more details on software and also getting your site online.

Hope this helps you getting started though.

  6. Sites looking better now!

not 100% sure on the orange nav text wen the rest of the site is green/white/grey plus is thre any need for to navigations :S

part from that its an improvement

  7. Hey Kirean your shopping cart doesnt work correctly

Were as the 1 i did you does ;)

On yours if you add another colour or size to the basket it doesnt add it on it just over writes that other one that was on there.

So in theory there is no way of ordering more than 1 design or colour!

This could just be me i dont know.

    EDIT:

I have found your problem your add to cart button is taking you to your checkout not your basket so it is taking you one page to far.

Also sort out your font already mate thought you would have known that if someone else doesn't have that font they see it as their default font.

  8. Hey max i applied to

bath spa - digital design and interactive media

    bournemouth - interactive media production

    newport - interactive media

buck new uni - cant remeber the course but was basically design design n interactive and animation i think

Its defo worth going to the unis before you applie and having a look around because I didnt have time and only went after applieing and at interviews and found that bournemouth was the only one of my choices i really wanted to go to.

    Sonny Clarke

Its well worth while getting photoshop and others from the adobe range like illustrator, dreamweaver and flash if you are into all the different areas. Most are industry standard and the capablitlies are miles higher than gimp in some respects.

  9. Hey cheers for the positive feedback.

Hey max i went to pcad ( plymouth college of art and design )

I am only doing a national diploma at the moment in Digital Graphics and Interactive Media but will be going on to do Interactive Media Production at Bournemouth next year.

As far as national diplomas go though this course was a great start to my work as its can set you off in so many different paths and the quality of work is awsome.

I went to 4 uni interviews and was really shocked to hear from 3 of them that they felt our course wasthe best they have heard of in the interactive media / design paths and that my portfolio and sketchbooks from the course were the best they have seen in a long time and one guy said it was the best he had ever seen and some work was to his year 2 standards. ( dont know how true that was ) but did give me an unconditional offer.

  10. Ahh i see!

Yeah i mean if it was me i would just stick a quick link in the footer its really up to you as we all no validation isnt fun so might as well show it off but at the same time you might just think i sthere any need as most people dont no about it/ dont care

But keep up the good work everything is looking good very professional
