Waiting to go singlespeed. in the mean time ive taken off my shifter and gear cable and jsut want to use 1 gear is there a way to sort of fix my rear mech so that it keeps tension in that 1 gear

how do i remove my XT shiferter without takign off my mech ?

yeah when you put it like that i guess your on to something. My current skill level wont snap it though and shudnt do for a while so long as it can satnd up to 2-3 ft drops when i eventually manage to start doign drops itll be fine and ive already bought it so as long as it supirior to my CB gatecrasher ill be happy. I have zero to no control on my backwheel prob as much my technique as the frame i guess. A video of backhops would be appreciated by as well as other "newbies" or crap riders

i suggest you buy a bag buy a mini folding stool and take that with you on rides can sit on that while ur not riding. Afterall thats wat ur trials bikes for trials

i thought low chainstays were good ? or is that short?. Well if it snaps it snap for £60 was a good deal so long as it gets me backhopping and pedalkicking with maybe afew small drops and as for that kid near you it was probably his technique look at skateboards there strong but you land wrong and even the strongest of them wil snap clean in half.

mine was a claud butler gatecrasher. but prob as bad. The reviews dont say the frames that weak ?. im sure it will last for a while ne ways. i cant backhop properly yet so ill only be doign small 2-3 ft drops wen i do get hang of it.
