  1. Gaz is bloody useless!

I bought a brake off him.

Money was sent then next day, as postal orders. Apparently they had to be taken to the bank and he was waiting for it to clear. (there postal orders ffs!) start of a lieing spree.

Then he said it was sent.

    Nothing for a week.

    2 weeks.

I started pestering him. He says it must have been lost in the post (apparently it happens a lot) offers me a refund which i accept.

No refund, 2 weeks later still no refund.

pestered him again. He starts geting angry saying nothing has ever been lost in the post (see above he told me via pm that it happened all the time, which i pointed out to him) (N)

Then accuses me of ripping him off.

Weeks go buy with me stil pestering him, i ask for another refund.

And then what comes through my door.

My brake with the postal date clearly proving that he had only just posted it! So he had been bullshiting me for weeks on end.

Open it up and its not as descrbed (broken crossover and cracked lever body)

    To sum it up.

Gaz M is a willy who can not be trusted, who lies and puts the blame on everyone but himself.

Do not touch him with a barge pole, unless its to batter him.

  2. all jokes aside frenchy, you have REALLY done well there, for a frenchman :P

it really does look awesome, like a nicer version of freds ;)

sort that seat post out before i come down at easter though :) cant WAIT to have a ride!

    Lol. Cheers cuthbert.

Once the seatpost issue has been sorted it will be :shifty:

I wondered what had happened to that frame! Alot of attention to detail there with the component choice and polishing (Y) The individual Edd Potts modified bash is really striking! Lovely photos by Rob too.

A beast indeed, and one that is going to eclipse all my own builds!

    Steve

Well expect a nice package with some lovely polished bits in the next week steve ;) so sorry about the delay.

And those pics do not do the cranks justice atall!

    This one does though :P

Derf will tell you! haha as this bike seems to be a carbon copy.

Its all in the pipeline. I will be getting an inline post as soon as funds allow but this thing has put enough of a hole in my wallet for the time being:P

i just had to ride so a cheapy seatpost had to do. lol

I agree about freds bike being very similar (what can i say, the man has taste!)

  6. Hi guys,

just finishing off my 24uk and its seatpost time.

obviously ill need a 30.9mm post but i was looking for some recomendations by you guys.

im looking for a post that will allow me to slam it right down out of the way so something ideally with a simple clamp design.

    Many thanks in advance (Y)

  7. Right the Gf wants to set up a wireless network so she can connect her lappy to the web.

Now im not to sure how to go about it for her. she is using tiscali broadband which means she has to connect to the web when she turns the current computer on.

No im using telewest meaning my connection is always live and i can acces the web via my network whenever i want even if the main comp is off.

What i want to know is if its possible to do this with tiscali. are there routers out there which keep the connection always on as she wont be able to have the main computer on when shes using her laptop.

If so what is available, the cheapest possible please its only got to go to the next room (Y)

    Hope you guys can help.

    Many thanks in advance

  8. Well i'm halfway through building up my 24" rig and its time to start thinking of rim + tyre combos.

I'm really keen on the tioda dh rims, they're not too heavy either. Was just wondering if they're any good.

i know there is the option of the rhyno lites aswell.

Whats everyone running tyre wise. For street use mainly. I'm looking at tioga comp x's or dmr moto diggers.

Any help/ recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

  9. FFS..

    People just aren't honest anymore.

The frame in question (petes supposed coust) Is infact the coust copys you could pick up off ebay for around £250 including a set of forks. It is NOT a coustellier..

    The history of said frame.

I believe it was bought by dave trials on here, who we all know changed frames more often than his underwear at one point. lol.

Prawn then swapped a D521 on a hope XC and an avid cable disk for this frame with Dave. He then decided he was going to get a T-rex so set off to grind the disk mount off, fill the rather sizeable dents up and respray the frame in vermillion orange :)

(only a few months ago did prawn realised that he was a prune and forgot to grind off the hose guide for the rear disk :P , REAL cousts ddon'thave a hose guide halfway down the rear triangle, again reinforcing the fact that pete is again talking out of his backside).

After this Eddie ( trials mama ) bought the frame of prawn for £70 ( a fair price cosidering its condition ) and rode it for a few months. He then swapped it for a t-rex frame with a friend of Gary.

Gary then rode this for a few more months, hitting the downtube and cracking all the filler adding a few general dings etc and ended up selling the frame to Pete Wright...

Pete Wright, current owner of a FAKE coustellier. Once the frame was in pete's possesion he had it professionally shot blasted and powdercoated by a local company. There is no doubt that it was a very good job and looks very classy in this colour but the downtube still has the HORRIBLE dents which would seriously deter me.

    So thats it people.

The frame pete is trying to sell as a coustellier is a copy available cheaply from Ebay of all places. I.E. a FAKE.

The Frame is 5th hand, Dented to fook and has seen a fair old amount of action in the downtube area.

The diskmount has been ground off again confirming it is a fake.

This frame/bike is NOT worth the price pete is asking for it atall. Frame prices do NOT go up as they get older, more battered and change owners pete.

Anyway rant over, now you guys have a valuable insight into the life of this frame ill leave you to make up your mind :-

Again i am amazed at the things that pete comes up with. Including his supposed FAMILY. :P Who only seem to crop up over the internet.

  11. Hi guys

I'm looking for an external hard drive for my pc.

First off what are they like?

I will be saving all my movies, pics and general stuff on it and having programmes on my internal.

Can i watch movies that i have saved on it properly or is there any delay?

Do you really notice the difference between internal or external?

Which is better, Firewire or usb 2??

    I have around £80 budget.

Any help would be much appreciated

  12. Earn the 4 million a year interest? Never have to work? Not be a dick and piss it away. (Saying that, i know i would)

The interest a month would be a hell of a lot more than that.

The average interest rates are around 3.9% a month so even if you blew 20 million and only had £80,000,000 left then interest a month would be...

    wait for it.. £3,120,000 :o

thats over 12 million a year in interest.

To put it into perspective thats £4642 an hour to spend, assuming you can stay awake 24 hours a day, lol

    I bought a ticket and got nothing,lol.

But as they say, you have to be in it to win it. (Y)
