  1. hmm i dunno i would because then you can run (Y) snail cams (Y) and it will be alot better and i dont really think it will damage the frame but if you were to snap your frame riding and wanted to claim it on the warrenty they wouldnt let you

it is up to you if you aint planning on claiming the warrenty if the frame snaps, then go for it but if not dont

    cheers mackey

  2. i had chain tugs and always seem to had problems with them then i got some snail cams from Tartybikes and then i had no problems at all the ones i have are the Inspired SS (Stainless Snail) Tensioners and they are only £10 well worth the money because you can forget about your wheel alignment forever

    cheers mackey (Y)

  3. i have had both the 04 and the 05 maguras and on the 05 i have had all sorts of problems with it i snapped the lever from just going other the bars slightly and pulling the adjuster through also i find they flex more. the 04 maguras are alot better they have a much stronger feel and are a nicer shape i find

you can get both the 04 and 05 complete sets from chainreactioncycles the 04s are £89.99 and the 05s £99.99

i reckon you should go for the 04s definately though :P :)

  4. firstly edge closer and closer to the edge of the drop on your back wheel then when you just reach the edge let your front wheel drop till it is almost vertical and give it a little kick to land on the back wheel and bend your legs to compress the landing

start by dropping your front wheel at little stages at a time then you will get the hang of it

but start small and work your way up

  5. i have a magura with water in it and now it is getting colder i am starting to worry about it freezeing. So i dont no whether to change the fluid back to oil or put a little bit of anti freeze inside (as i have heard people say )if everyone thinks anti freeze is the better option how much should i put in?

any help and advice would be good thanks :S

  6. i would agree with most other people that they are a overkill. In my opinion i dont think they are that good because i have spoken to many downhillers about them and they say that only work well if you have them constantly on going down a downhill course.

Also they are not designed specifically for trials more for freeride/dowhill so i reckon you should maybe use the fifty pounds you were going to use to buy one on saving for a hope mono trial

i have just got a hope mono trial today and they are amazing and are alot better than hs33s so go for one of these instead of a 6 pot. (Y) (Y) :)

  7. for £350 you cannot get many 26" bikes brand new if you can stretch to £400 you can get a T-Raptor complete from Tartybikes.

Or you could always go for second hand bikes from ebay. Cleanbikes also have a second hand section.Try having a look on here for second hand bikes aswell.

You could always go for a 20" (Y) because you can get a slightly wider range for the amount of money you have but it does depend what riding you like doing.

  8. i have been on a train several times to get to rides and places with my bike they havent said anything to me about not being able to take my bike with me on the trian and i havent had to pay extra just a standard ticket

so i dont see why it would be any problem for you

  9. i rip most gloves to shreds i have had all sorts mostly fox gloves like the sidewinder and the mojave etc

personally i reckon you should go for something like the sixsixone gloves as the pair i have which are the 661 comp gloves are good because i havent got one hole in them yet.

i got my from chain reaction cycles www.chainreactioncycles.com and are priced at £17.99

they come in colours black blue and red in s,m,xl

    :P good gloves :-
