  3. I'm still on getting used to hopping on the back wheel, have a tendency of hopping backwards, which is really annoying, but getting better at it everyday. Would love to pedalkick forwards.
  4. I'm 12 stone and run the tyres quite hard, I find that I can hop on the rear wheel alot easier with the tyres a bit harder, but thats just my opinon.
  5. Sometimes my freewheel comes loose, so I just tighten it up again and it is fine. The other day it completely fell apart, mainly because I tightened my chain too much and it must have worked the freewheel loose, all the inside bits of the freewheel came out and got lost in the process, so I have to get a new freewheel now.
  6. Once, I applied some of that Monty brake spray a bit too much and the next day my brakes were so noisy I had to go back home. But yeah, try using sandpaper to take off a layer of the pads.
  7. Thats good to hear, but I don't think I can get this magazine down where I live. Speaking about trials magazines, when I was in Spain last year, I saw a bike trials magazine in a local newsagents, it was all in Spainish though.
  8. I've never riden a stock, but alot of people start off with a mod, then go on to a stock later on when they are more experienced with their techniques.
  9. Thanks everyone, I know about the section in MBUK that deals with bike trials, I buy MBUK because I'm also into cross country mounting biking. I think a downloadable magazine would be a very good idea.
  10. I was wondering if there is any magazines out there that are completely dedicated to bike trials, and if so does anyone know where or how I can get my hands on them? Thanks.
  11. Thats a nice looking bike, how does it ride?
  12. I like some of Craig lee scott's vids. Also theres this rider called John webster (who featured in one of ryan leech's DVDs).
  13. I have got that exact same frame, nice and light.
  14. You are doing really well, keep up the practice and remember to never give up on bike trials, I gave up on it for a while, but now i'm back on the bike and now learning how to hop on rear wheel which has really made me determined to carry on with bike trials.
  15. Check out some of the DVD's that are out (Mastering the art of trials, tricks and stunts), but learn the basics first and make sure you get your balancing dialled.
  16. I would say get a 20" bike, I think in a lot of ways they are easier to learn on than the 26" bikes.
  17. XC mountain biking, playing on my xbox 360, boxing and listening to music. I have thought about trying Parkour but am undecided.
  18. I have not done trials for a few months now, but i used to go out on my bike almost everyday after work.
