  1. Hey people!

Im going to be running a rear disk brake on my monty, and i want to get a fairly small size disk rotor so that im less likly to hit it.

However the smallest disk rotors i can find are 160mm :ermm: , i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get smaller rotors from? like 145, 150, 155 mm.

Any help would be much apreciated (Y)

  2. Thats exactly what ive done with my pitbull. When i got my new kmc chain, it just kept slippin when i ran it with my tensioner on, so i took the tensioner of and it worked :)

Ive been running it like that since christmas and ive had no problems with it, never slips at all (Y) However the chain is starting to become slack now and is starting to loose its tension, so i may need to put a tensoiner on soon :- but other than that its been perfect!

  3. That ride looked so good! im so gutted that i coudn't go (N):( . That hook that chai n staples are doing looks proper cool! big kudos to them :PLOL

  4. If you dont mind not buying from cleanbikes and paying a visit to the tart and also if money is no object go for a profile on a koxx rim or something like that, light, excellent performance rate and they do excellent wheelbuilds and have excellent customer service.

  8. thanks for all the reply's - last time i went down to the rocks at frinton i c matt stamples and i think it was matt chi from london and they was amazing.I might give Ipswich ago as its quite near :)

The last place i went 2 out of clacton was great yarmouth and it was crap.

colchester looks quite good 4 trials but aparently its not allowed and the cops are a bit harsh.

    Hi mate

I live in Colchester is not too bad for trials but once you've ridden their for a couple of times it can get abit boring. If you ride on a sunday or when its not busy you dont usually get much trouble from the cops, i've only been stopped twice by the cops, so it aint too bad. :-

Me and my mate did go down clacton a couple of months back but we didnt get to ride as his freewheel broke literally soon as we got of the train. :(

Ipswich is pretty good, i rode their on sunday for my first time and was good fun :D.

  9. ive got the monty in red i was reading a post a couple of days ago and they were talking about the back disc mount .its supposed to be too weak so if you get a disc on the back then keep a good eye on it because it may snap !!!!!

I e-mailed monty asking if the rear disk mount would hold with a rear disk and they said that there shouldn't be any problems as the mounts are strong enough, the mounts do actually look quite strong aswell so shouldn't be a problem.

Your bikes looking nice mate (Y)

  10. All i use is the bluetooth dongle to send mp3's and videos, but with videos you need to use a video converter as said above. My bluetooth dongle cost me £25  didnt no you could get them for a tenner :(

    Good luck

    Chris
