    Fork Help!

A friend of mine has some blacks although he uses it for XC. He's does very light streety on it too and they handle fine with it. I think the blacks would be groovy for DJ Might be wrong as I've never had a pair myself....

    Naughty Bodge

i found this problem although mine wasn't completly stripped, and im not as technically minded as some of these on the forum (N) I just found a longer magura bolt which caught beyond the destroyed thread bit. then when it started to tighten, it was biting enough thread to go in (N) However that only works if theres some thread left. If its COMPLETLY destroyed as you say, then it wont work. But its worth a try
  15. I *think* i get you with the torque thing. Its like the hub is pulling on the spokes to turn the rim, which can be done by a single spoke. much like a dog on a lead :- Whereas the radial requires a all the spokes to be tight, and pushes the rim around. Thats the way im thinking anyway. As for the stiffness thing, I have no idea. I used a 4x for my rear wheel because I was told it was the strongest type using G-sport BMX < Their wheel build guide
  16. Me too :D Although last week in august sounds horribly familiar... ah well cant remember anything so sod it :S
  17. Yeah i want it in mod lol Although I agree with you craig, shush! if its cheaper :P its better Thats my crazed way of thinking anyway

    Front Hopping

I agree. I always used to stop when I felt I got to the balance point for fear of falling, but once i thought "sod it", I stayed on and did about 7 more  Im currently learning this too :P My record is 12 lol

    Pissed Off

eeeek! Unlucky with the bars mate. to be honest I'd recommend wating for some money and getting new ones as a ) They'll be stronger B ) They'll be a change. Surely you get bored with the same thing all the time? I changed my bars (club roost sport ones) for onza ones ( :o ) so far so good (Y) lol
  20. Just an idea, is it possible to run a rear cable disc + a rear vee brake from the same lever? My mate has an oddyessey lever and it came with 2 cables attached to a single, long cylinder (to go in the lever) Surely with adjustment you could get them to engage at the same time and thus twice the power! lol Dont have a moan that its a stupid idea. Just suggestion as to why it is or isn't Back to the topic.... lol.... I have front and rear maggies, but imo my mates' bikes have front discs, and they're much better for up to front moves
  21. Although Im not happy with them, standard reds (Y) Work the same as standard everything else IMO :)
  22. Doesn't the boy say "It's not the spoon that is bent. You are bent" ? :P In answer to your question i don't. As monkey said, natural progession (Y). For drops all i think in my head is "Right if I try to stop its gonna hurt a hell of a lot more than if I atleast try". That gets me off the edge every time :)
  23. Does look good. I've not been there yet. Ill have to pop over there some time (Y)
  24. I might make it. Im doing a hike in yorkshire dales anyway ending thursday. If someone comes to feed me.... ....lol don't know ill try. I agree with you craig too, natural does seem to be dying but hopefully this WILL boost its popularity. This is gonna be so cool. And anyway the Yorkshire dales is a big place. Im sure there's other natural elsewhere?
