I prefer the look of the 04's, but find the 05's a lot more comfortable to use. Although its all about what you are use to i guess.

Simon i did the same course a few years ago and thought the same thing, I hated it and left after the first year. Now i'm doing a HND in Multimedia. I find it much more interesting, although I am a bit annoyed that i wasted time/money by dropping out of the computing course

i read about it, and apparently thats not actually knurled. its just a really deep grind.
I know that rim isnt knurled, but thats what a surface will look like. Also the thread on OTN that that pic is from has more knurling information (Y)

I havnt had anything too bad yet.
My worst was probably when i tried to bunnyhop over a road cone on my DH bike and didnt hop high enough. Little did i know that the cone was covering a huge metal pole sticking out of the ground (Y) I landed (at speed) on the back of the seat, snapping the seat bolt. Frank landed on the seat and beans landed between the tyre and seat. Picture the rest. That was a bad day ;)

An Amourdillo is a must IMO, I land hard on mine atleast once a ride :P No dents for me yet
For the chainstays, on the drive side i use a couple of layers of old innertube. On the sidehop side i have a sheet of carbon fibre that extends down a couple of mm below the stays. Its super solid and works well. Came with the frame

MP3 player is all you need :P
Beats riding with a group of moaners that just stand around holding their bikes watching and criticising. aka, my friends :)

Last time i went to a computer fair i found it more expensive than buying online :P
As for trusting my data on DVD's from PoundLand :) No thanks :$

You mean this but i don't think its been updated for a while so the 2006 stuff might be different

Bringing back an old topic
Did anyone decided to produce any of these in the end?
The thread in my TPA has gone and would like a couple of metal ones.

Such as the Monty mini seat, if you try to sit on that fully it just pops out. The answer is to just deal with it and learn to sit on the front of it
-
You can sit on anything, i sit on my brake booster all the time. Obviously you cant pedal though
-
1 Shimano front hub
2 Shimano rear hubs
1 Shimano quick release skewer
1 Shimano Sora mech
4 Shimano chains
6 mech hangers
Most of which could have been avoided probably if i learned to sidehop the other way, which im trying to now

Really liked that and thought the music and editing worked ace (Y)

1. rear sprocket/ chassette : DMR single speed kit
2. pedals : wellgo V8 copies (cheaper and just as grippy)
3. chain : KMC kool/KHE collapse
4. chain tensioner : fresh products tensioner
Thats what i run and its good :shifty:
The fresh products tensioner is LOADS better than the Surly i had
-
Good work :shifty:
I'm waiting for mine to brake so i can get something a bit cooler for summer, but (thankfully) i haven't managed it yet
-
Defiantly all the time :shifty:
Smacked my head the other night on the smallest stupidest wall, would have proper hurt were it not for the helmet. I use a 661 Mullet but it does get pretty hot sometimes, good for the winter though

Since people are talking about it.
Can anyone tell me the ERD of the rear rim?
Or what length spokes i need to order to use it with a Hope XC?
