  1. As many of you hopefully remember a few years back, I posted a topic up or rather Robin (RobinJI) did about the restoration of my vintage classic car. Well I can now say it is running and now back on the road, heres the original topic

    http://www.trials-fo...-jowett-long-7/

Now this year I entered classic of the year 2012, and have amazingly somehow have gotten voted in by the judges down to the final 20, and now its up to public vote for the decider on who is awarded the classic car of the year 2012 title. So I was wondering if anyone would be up for voting?

  3. Yeah it has vertical drop outs, and I'm also running a simple sprung chain tensioner,This one but I still need to use the half link, I was wondering if I used another tensioner maybe a two jockey wheeled one or a different set up of gearing to make the chain a suitable length without resorting to a half link.

  4. Hello,

I'm currently riding an Ozonys Xr26. The gearing I'm running it on is currently 18/15. Now I find this gearing fine, but with the chain I have to use a half link, which I have a tendency of snapping often. Could anyone recommend a different maybe ratio, or any chain tensioners setups which would be able to allow me to not use a half link...

Any help greatly appreciated, fed up with snapping half links, would prefer to run a complete link.

  5. Currently using the Sd7 for the rear and the fr5(silver one) for the front. And been running them for years there both pretty good levers in my opinion and fully serviceable. You say about your blade wobbling, thats because the two top hat bushes are prone to breaking, but still you can just strip it down and get replacements then back to good again.

  6. Onza zoot forks, seemed pretty good for the money as its a pretty budget build. Think of going for a higher stem or bar, but for the moment it rides fairly well with its current setup

  7. He lives in Bridport I think, and owns/built the local indoor skate park in bridport. Few park riders I know are always there. This is the first time I've seen him in the vid, pretty cool

  8. Trialtech do their Sport 108 freewheel in 16t, if that's low enough for you?

A 16 tooth is what I'm running at the moment along with a 24 tooth up front, nice to know that some decent trials freewheels do come in different tooth options. But will sooner be going to 22 upfront, its nice having it quite hard to put your weight behind, but just a little too stiff for a quick response. Hoping the weekend will provide some more play time.

  9. I was actually worried it wasn't, as there were no kind of marks, and only a few pictures on the forum gallery to compare it to. I was also annoyed the forks which were sold with it weren't 24inch like advertised. But should be sorting that soon, it's a fairly cheap build at the moment, middle burns, and dv rims rear dmr hub with a fairly standard freewheel at the moment, ACS's I've been looking into. but want to get something like another eno, but they dont do them in lower than 18tooth, Had one on my ozony and is lasting pretty well. And very instant on the front. Looking forward to riding it properly once everything is all sorted out on it.

  10. Cool. What kind of condition was it in when you bought it? Did you paint it yourself?

Was in pretty good nick, when I bought it no cracks, a few trials scars, but i rubbed them all down when I sprayed it from black to green. Will soon be looking for some forks or getting those converted somehow.

  11. Bought the frame off ebay a while back for pocket money. And have only just built it up, after my topic a while back about wondering whether to try 24 inch, I thought for the price on ebay can't really go wrong, have built it up on a small budget of about 250 so far, but still needing a few bits to finish it off. So far I'm happy with it just getting to grips with how short it is compared to my Ozonys.
