  1. Personally i don't see the point in trials shoes, the just make you looks all professional really. Too expensive aswell. I don't know why you're feet hurt after riding, just check you haven't got 10 inch daggers on your pedals. (sorry not a funny joke). But anywayjust stick with some nice grippy skate shoes which aren't too wide, and not expensive, no point spending tonnes of money on shoes which are going to get messed up a little.
  2. Why not give Ryan Leech a call? He lives somewhere around there!
  3. Flippin heck! Calm down son! But anyway, i reckon it's probably best just to get used to it, you might end up liking it alot more in the end. Perhaps your friends stem/bar set up made his Gu seem a little shorter? But you're lucky to have such a nice frame, i wouldn't be too picky.
  4. I suppose technically it's somebody like Vincent hermance, see as he has won the worlds a million times, and the rest of the koxx team could also be considered. I also think Neil Tunnicliffe is an awesome rider but wouldn't say he was the best, not enough variety really. I have to say Chris Ackrigg because he is amazing at street and natural. I'm sure he could do gigantic step downs like Neil Tunnicliffe if he really wanted to...
  5. I actually think the frame looks well nice, i like the whiteness aswell, for some strange reason, and i'm sure the geometry is super aswell.
  6. hey hey i have a giant trials team "03 n im way to tall for it, bought it when i didnt know alot about trials n i was wonderin what the sort of price would be able to get for the frame,bb,headset if i was to try to sell. few scratches all external please write bak with your views
  7. Ha ha good topic, i have a paper round, which i am not one of these people who has a million pound bike. However i have just discovered the magic of people splitting their bikes on trials-forum
  8. Well the spec you've got there is a little old school trials. I reckon whjat would be best for you is to buy a fully built bike like an onza. Then as you get better you can upgrade it, with parts that you will then need due to your improvements. If you are made of money try and get an Onza limey/woodstock spec. I've known people to get an Onza Trex/woodstock speck, so i'm sure supercycles could sort you out one. Yet if you're not made of dosh, a good old begginers t-raptor which will need some upgrading eventually. Finally i recommend you go onto www.tartybikes.co.uk and just go through all the pages getting used to all the parts and brands up for grabs. This will give you better trials parts knowledge!
  9. good point, but i am not just talkin about stuff on 24 inch bike. I think even somebody like tunni or stan shaw should throw in a streetier style to some of his moves just to give a more interesting and exciting edge to their videos/riding. I also like manuals.
  10. Damon Watson, balls of super duper reinforced steel with extra gussets to make them even stronger. Plus he could probably sidehop onto my head...
  11. stick to the plazmatics, beautifull....
  12. These days all that seems to be happening is uci street trials, i think there is now like 1 or 2 street heads knocking about when i go out riding, compared to like 20 "comp chomps". To be honest personally i love UCI stuff, but i also love the beauty of manuals, bunnyhops e.t.c. o next time your out riding, chuk in a street move for the likes of holroyd and tounge.
  13. Aaaah the classic Zoo! python, that looks like a scrumptious bike.
  14. I reckon the limey all the way, besides if money doesn't matter then why not the a1?
