  2. dont mean shit :\ quote name='Rusevelt' timestamp='1328554257' post='2381880'] That is rather shocking to hear that coming from an internationally known pro rider, who has contributed many years of his trade to our sport.
  3. He do not see the idea behind making peoples lives better, sees only how to have things simple with restrictions. And just make sure theres always a non crowded place for his son to ride, which actually falls out of this discussion ,since we can be there whenever no one is there. Selfish thoughts behind it, which is rather indescribable, but what sums it up is this thought pattern: "I did something and therefor i demand who to be able to play, preferrably only myself." But every logical thought patterns crumbles apart with the idea that having us there, for a certain amount would only be a contribution to theyr club, income and helping hands. This is the world of biketrials and my own struggles with the sport, no body gives a f**k about us dumb biketrialers. I personally feel that every step i take, i get it right back in my face with an added laugh.
  4. its bergen, and we are almost never allowed there, even though we can pay 5 times the cost of elictricity and never be there when anyone else is there. The owner is total douchebag
  5. as "Crazy street trials w/ TRA on Inspired Hex " ( ) was the main video of Step 1, this is the indoor version. Step 1 was to primarily film some short sequences on how the inspired could be handled as a trials bike. This is just a few short clips of me riding the Inspired Hex in an indoor arena for mototrials which is not suiting for street trials at all. Now begins the large task of learning a few new tricks along with planning and finding locations for a proper video , which is step 2. Hope you all enjoy this short little video. Tra On Inspired Hex !

No, better, stuff in some proper TGS awesomeness in a video thats creative, entertaining, skillfull and innvovative so that it reaches wider audience.
  7. These are 2 so different bikes , it creates the problem that you will not aquire a good level increase on either if you constantly swap around :\

    Tra On Inspired Hex !

Great to hear that ! since it was one of my main focuses here, to show off what happened if you put a good proper trials rider on an inspired and gave it some beans!

    Tra On Inspired Hex !

ofcourse i am more home at TGS, its what has been my main focus. But i will give effort into making myself more smooth and to show off some nice combo tricks or whatever you people call them
  11. Hello to you all and them other too. First off let me say that, yes i am sponsored, but i will do my best to keep this article unbiased and honest. Now lets us think, what is the point of having a bike that does not do pure biketrials as good as, well , pure trials bikes. Freedom! This is the entire key to why i have converted to a bike that has a seat, lower standover height, heavier, low bb etc etc. And it really is one the aspects i have always wanted and loved, i love the concept of taking 1 bike and doing whatever you feel like with it. If someone remembers my video "ride everywhere", this was the thought behind it. But then theres the balance choices, which of the two aspects of bmx and trial do you enjoy the most ? For me this is trial, atleast now in the beginning, and with the "beginning" in context the Hex was definetly a good choice. If you are more accustomed to pure trials its smarter to go to a 26" hex then a 24" fourplay or even an skye. With the bigger wheels it will feel more naturally and better to do the trials bits, especially on uneven ground. Because if you go straight from trial bike to 24" pure street bike you might feel so uncomfortable that you will get a big disliking and just give up the whole thing and go back to the pure trials bike, dont jump straight into unknown waters, most people dont like it as much. handlebar/stem setup. The biggest thing you can do on a bike to make it either solely "better" , or better for yourself. For this step 1 video, im riding with the trialtech SL stem and high rise trialtech bar almost straight up, i have been inching the handlebar further and further back only to realise that as long as you get used to it, you still have enough room to move freely. I highly advice trials people to do the same thing, dont start short, start long and inch yourself back, its more natural and easier to find your "sweet spot". I will try out a shorter stem and try to get as short as possible setup until i feel too restricted to move as i would like to. Since the shorter setup i have the more "freedom" i have on the bike to toss it around and bunnyhop whenever wherever. Now , my bad points of the bike. Well im glad to say there is hardly any . But me coming from trials background it does feel a little too streety for my taste, i would like a geo that makes it feel a little swifter and lighter and in general more trialsy. Now this is mainly my taste and the geo is there because i guess most people dont feel it like that, i am certainly weird. But i must say that i have a tendency to never truly be 100% satisfied and im talking tiny differences here. Point of bike is street, and im saying make it more trials, man im dumb, haha. Did inspired do something wrong here? no i do not think so . The rims, the rear rim are made for the not heaviest guys that do the biggest drops, but enjoys smoothness over harshness, and dont do insane drop gaps from 3.5 meter heights . And well, im not the smoothest rider, and im 92+kg . So the rims are not holding up as good as i would like to, but nor should they ! I do not think the rims have bad design at all, they do the job exactly as they should, but its just not the strongest rims to take the largest impacts. They do not get crooked like a flawed designed rim would do, i do like them and most will, i guess for 99.999% of people rear rim should be excellent. Front rim ive had no issues with, smacked it hard, didnt budge one bit. Chaintensioner, who here actually likes chaintensioners? i do not like them, but with the variety of setups people want and keeping cost low, it still was a good choice for the Hex, and theyr chaintensioner works as it should. Still havent had a single problem yet with it. Like today, im going to put on a smaller cog for test and see if it works better for me, more speed! You cant just swap cogs on horizontal dropout, you can even run gears with a vertical dropout. Freedom! And well there isnt much more to say about drawbacks, there are very few(almost none,if not none for some) and i have yet to ridden the bike long enough to make up mind such as frame/fork strenght etc. Both frame and fork feels really solid, more solid then any trials bike ive had ofcourse, as it should My biggest "tips" for people who might want to go from pure trials to a hex, is that if you just try out a friends hex going from a proper trials bike, it might feel like a brick of turd ! But when your balance/movement/techniques adjust to the bike over a little time, it will feel better and better. The balance is quite different and the power/movement placement is so different that i recommend really to try and adjust before mind is set on thoughts. I for one was shocked at how well the Hex coped with static gaps, quite impressed! And bike feels better after every time i ride it. I really do like my new bike, and i see good times and sweet freedom rolling around every corner! =) For national trials competitions i will most likely ride my Hex, i just make sure the stem/bar setup is as trialsy as possible and im good to go ! Hope you enjoyed my inputs of the bike. Thank you

    Tra On Inspired Hex !

I will go and do some stem scouting in the shops here today actually, im thinking like 1cm shorter, i think im very close to the shortest reach that i can ride with. I will not go super short like many do, this will make the bike too much bmx and will be too far away from my comfort zone, little by little! =)

    Tra On Inspired Hex !

Thanks all Oh yea definetly i will go on and work on creative flowy lines and some more technical street "tricks" on the months to come. Step 2 that Ankles do hurt sometimes, but they are getting stronger as they were many years ago. Wrists never hurt actually and theyve always been up for them kind of impacts, just not the falls Wheels, well these wheels are not made for 90+kg people trashing the absolute shit out of them, but they are still working as they should do, which is awesome ! =)

    Tra On Inspired Hex !

Yeah both for myself sake at this point and Inspired, i reckoned it would be best to show what the Hex could actually do, outside the bmx world Btw, that t-shirt im wearing over the red sweater at one point, is volga verdi penguin t-shirt that i received .. because i like penguins .. =D
  16. Copy/Paste from youtube description: This is the first video i do on a street trials bike, i got the bike some months back, but beeing winter there have been little time on bike. This video is filmed over 3 days of riding. This video acheives "step 1" of what i would like to do , and this was to focus mostly on what i already knew of techniques and use these to make a video on the Inspired. But next in line is the indoor video of Step 1, as this is the outdoor version. 17. What is it with lazy people these days ? in vimeo there is a clue which is : "There is a loong dropgap attempt in this video where for a split second my left foot came off the pedal, it scared me shitless " The arrow points to that. I tucked so hard that i touched the rear tire in my ass , but continuing to pull up my foot so foot came of the pedal midair.
  18. thomas shits all over thomas the tank engine =p
  19. Yeah , next step of cameras for mere mortals are the proto canon which shoots at 4K res , i doubt it will cost more then .... 6000 usd . =P And then all we need is 720p @ 200+fps for a "nice price" . I have now been searching around there just isnt any higher res then DV quality that goes up to 200+fps price going from 480p to 720p is like 500USD vs 15 000USD or close there .
  20. lol @rage. casio does not hold any quality advantages compared to my camera . If anyone knows of a camera that does 200+ fps at 720p please do let me know , and with that i do mean cameras that are under 5000 USD
  21. Its not over the top at all, for instructionals purposes i think i hit a good speed. The camera is sony hdr cx360 , records 240 fps for 3 seconds, so yea, i have to shout "yes" when i want the helper to push the rec button , haha. Sure, no problem ! i can do that ! just give me 10-20 cameras in i`ll do it, im waiting.
  22. no new material I added 25% twixtor ontop of the 240 fps material that i had, resulting in superduper slowmotion, close to 1000 fps. There are some warping, but because there were so many frames for twixtor to work with, its quite minimal. I made this solely because people seemed to really enjoy slowmotion for instructional purposes, and because its nice to watch, altho boring after a while. Hopefully im able to make some other videos where i can illustrate more clearly some techniques in the future. sponsors: Trialtech Allsport Dynamics TNN Engineering

    Tra- Slowmo Test 2

i set up the camera, and then i shout "yes" when i want them to start recording, haha , its pretty stupid

    Tra- Slowmo Test 2

People seemed to like my slowmo even though i hadnt really put much effort into it, so heres another ! description: This is the second test of the slowmo function of my sony hdr-cx360 . Again, its very difficult because you can only film for 3 seconds, and on this day it was very dark outside with bad weather, resulting in even worse quality then last time. Altho i think its worth it, its what i have and i can do stuff with it. I will hopefully do a proper video soon where i use this effect , but none of these clips were good enough for a "real" video and therefor i made this short.
