Just put my browns on, not been out yet but they feel better and make a great sound. maybe i was a little reserved with the grind as it was the first time so next time i will go harder. I am looking forward to getting out to feel the diffrence(and in the rain). If you are having trouble getting them i ordered from bikedock online on sunday and they arrived this morning Thanks for the help.

On saturday i put a grind on my rim for the first time.In the past i have always used tar.I have just been out and am disappointed with the results I have just put on a new pair of coolstops on, i know these are not ideal but thought i would try them anyway until my koxx browns arrive. Will there be a great improvement as i just didn`t trust the coolstops they just slipped. Need some reassurance as i am regretting it now

Sounds great, not the oldest swinger in town but not far from it. Would love to come on sunday but i am tied up all day. Do you meet there every sunday as i would like to come and get involved. Jamie

I have been riding now for about three years. i think i have learnt most of the basics.The thing is i ride on my own, no one i no rides and i am having problems progressing."you can only learn so much from dvds and how too sites. I am thinking of getting involved in a club to meet like mined nutters like myself who spend most of there spare time practicing this weird sport of ours. My other problem is that i am no spring chicken and would feel a bit silly if i turned up at a trials club and i was the oldest swinger in town. :$ I live in manchester so the nearest place to me i think is tyke trial, could anyone give me some advice please.

I have been riding a trials spec shooter for about three years now and had no problems with the frame. But some opinions are they are better for street/dirt jumping. I can`t say as it is the only trials bike i have ridden. SORRY.

I have a DDG hub that came with my shooter. It had the tango wheel build. My chian has been jumping off more recently, and the bike is nearly three years old.

I have a problem. every time i get up on my rear wheel "back hop" off,up or just forward my chain seems to kink when i reset for the next pedal stroke. when i try to put power down there is nothing there. Its as if it gets stuck when i crank the pedals back. :P please help

I bought my shooter(trials spec) two years ago as a starter bike to trials, loved it then and still love it now.But as people keep on saying to me "its not a pure trials frame", but i don't care. I got the artic issue(white and blue) and it looks COOL. sorry about the pun.

Thanks for the advise. I think i will research how to do a grind and just do it, at the moment though i have a place i can ride inside but i don`t know how long that will last. (hopefully most of the winter)but i cant see it.

As the bad weather is about to arrive can anyone recommend any wet weather pads for my maggies ? I don't want to grind my rims as i don`t know what i am doing. Also has anyone had any problems with there 661 shin guards i rinsed mine in the sink in warm water and washing powder and the graphics all started to peel off :D
