  1. Haha, if only you were a year earlier I would have had a riding partner! Dear god...13 years and nothing then someone moves out when I move back here!

Good luck in Dubai, I'm sure you'll have a laugh, that heat is something else!

PMed you earlier, after not reading the later stages of your post, woops, ignore the first bit!

  2. they knock your drink out your hand or whatever, ends up in a little scrap maybe, never hurt anyone. Bit of fun...

Last one we had was 50 glasses and bottles thrown/smashed, 7 head wounds, girl with a glass in her eye and then a few burst noses etc. 5 little pikeys were found hiding in the cellar brandishing bottles of gin for if anyone in came after them.

That was all before me and the other steward got down the stairs to find 30 of them rolling about on the floor with each other and shortly before I got a couple bottles aimed at myself... Night ended with 2 ambulances, 6 police vans and 3 police cars. 15 guys and probably as many girls charged.

Fun? Maybe it's just more fun down there. I didn't even want to get into this debate.

  3. f**king terrible video, but my personal experience makes it 100x worse.

Half the club nights I steward at are filled with about 170-200 of fannies like that listening to IDENTICAL music to that song there, its Happy Hardcore and there is NOTHING happy about it, they just listen to it and fight and make me join in...c**ts...

That just brought back bad weekend after bad weekend to me and I hate every time i think about it...Just constant beeping and ""MCs"" jibbering shite down the mic all night. At least half the time the DJ gets jumped halfway through his set so the music dies early!

    I hate scum...

  4. If it's body fat measurement it won't be as bad, some body builders get to a ridiculously low body fat percentage.

Yeah, but they go down to like 3% for a show, ie two days...Then they'll put on 40lbs or something as soon as the shows done...

But saying that, Bruce Lee was sub 10% pretty much all the time apparently.

  5. A very, VERY well made and video, impressed me a lot...

But I have to say I didn't manage to watch it all, I got kinda bored and had to turn it off after about 3 mins :(

Didn't know Bentham was still riding! He was a proper beast a while back!

Good stuff lads, pity it wasn't quite my cup of tea...

  6. don't forget danny mac

He gets the "Least appropriate Trials Clothes" award...

    Leather Jacket anyone...Suspect

"Biggest Sex Pest" is probably a close call between 'jambo' and 'glasvagas'

  7. I do know it's a load of bollocks compared to trials if that's any use.

I'm sure I'll speak on behalf of several people here when I thank you for that fantastic contribution to a thread that doesn't require people, much like yourself, being complete cocks and posting shite like that...

Stop being an arse mate (well I use the term 'mate' loosely), it's each to their own, if he wants to try and change his riding a bit then what's wrong with that? As long as we all have a laugh doing what we enjoy.

Rant over, I'm hungover and wound up.

  8. lol so do i. It wern't bad for a swap for my zebdi evil eyes lol

    peace

Haha, HOW did you manage that one? Didn't even know deals like that were possible in today's super cheap "Give me all your money" market!

Still, sounds like a brilliant deal, and looks like it's shaping up to be a bike I'd really want a go on...

    Well done!

  9. Buy a Zero or a Curtis, but some short travel forks, hit the skatepark for a week or so and you're sorted ;) The stuff you pick up in the skatepark can easily be taken to the streets!

Places like descentworld touch on the street/jump bits and pieces and you could probably pick up a few things there!

    Enjoy it!

  10. To be incredibly honest, I rode one a wee while ago and I've never actually ridden a frame that bad, it really just felt like any other MTB discipline frame, it just seemed like a challenge to get it onto the back wheel and keep it there, don;t get me wrong they look pretty and are solid as fook, but feel horrific :(

  11. Labour is the only way to go, particularly event labour as you'll have plenty of shifts with all the big moosic festivals coming up. I've been with a similar company for just under a year, meet great people, don't have to think - just move stuff, good cash, can choose your shifts and amazing hours!

Can't beat it, 3 weeks of T in the Park last year, 12-16 hour shifts, £80 a day!

    Sorted!

  12. is that the quarry at cambu??

if so- find the dirt jumps they rule(fraser and danny go to cambu a little bit)

hope to see you all soon

    kenny

Aye, the one just up from the jumps... Tis a well good spot :D

  13. Well I'll have you know that the official reason I was not filmed that day was I had a pretty nasty bit of tire burn on my leg which I was very worried that the extreme sunlight on that particular day could have reflected off of the camera lens and furthered burnt my leg, therefore hindering me more.

    Yes...

Quality video chief, doesn't quite give those ridiculous taps justice though as they were far far too big!

  14. Haha, pretty funny vid in places, gutting myself at the end, Ross was giggling like a school girl as well! Looks like i missed a prety good weekend! :( boo!

Guessing the next vid will have some of the more recent footage in it? Like the stuff of me? Oh wait, that's like unicorns pubic hair ;)
