  1. I've got like this pretty long concrete car park which we never use in my house in AD< i never thought about it but it would be a really good place to build stuff....it's within the walls (12 foot plus) of my house and shaded as well!! And it's always empty....

  2. There is a topic with ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW about spoke lengths on this forum.....It even gives you a nice quick link to a spoke calculator....so please just read that and do it yourself....Ad's a nice guy and we don't want him going crazy with folk like you just ignoring the post!!! ;)

  3. Hi guys i need help i am buying a profile hub heres the infomation on the hub:

Available in 48, 36, 32 or 28 hole – Oversized hub shell for increased rigidity – Hollow 19mm 7075-T651 aluminum axle for race speed and weight-savings – Uses five sealed cartridge bearings – four pawl internal cassette mechanism for superior strength. The rear cassette hub comes with your choice of cog size: 12-18t with titanium driver or 9, 10 or 11t titanium cog/driver (no additional charge). The Race Hubset features 3/8” axle studs and comes in polished or black anodized finishes.

i have a koxx try-all rim which cam with spokes already fitted i need 2 know if the profile hub will fit!! in the rear will with the  spokes i already have!!

                      cheers guys!

First of all, read the millions of other recent posts about koxx rims, failing that.....Re-using spokes isn't a terribly good idea, and the spokes you already have most likely wont be the right length.....and it should fit, granted you pay enough attention and buy a hub with the same drilling as your rim!

  4. OK to clear something up...it clearly states that on the website the DVD is

£15 INCLUDING postage and packing INSIDE the UK

    otherwise it is

£20 INCLUDING postage and packing OUTSIDE the UK.

The Film is 50 minutes long.

We have sold many copies to U.S customers already and only praise so far.

The trailer doesnt really show all that much to be honest...

    Brainchild-films Website

Hey chas, have you got any copies of it in the shop just now?? I'll nip in soon and get one?? What days are best?

  5. Ain't got a card either :) And cheques for foreign currencies are fooking expensive.

    Do you take cash?

I should be able to sort you out...i can nip down and get a couple of copies in a couple of weeks (shit is that all!??!?) then send you one?? Or Chas you could sort this out....

  6. Deej, matey, we never did get round to making that "Maxie-Tweek Imports" then did we.... :ermm:

Who's your brother gonna torcher your cat with??!!

I'll always remeber the 14th from now on......

  7. What's the point in this?? They all ride different styles, on differnet bikes...are some are stronger/weaker than others.......or maybe its the fact that they are all different and not clones.......

    very pointless topic... (Y)

  8. could someone show me what show me what my bike woulsd look like with rear maxxis high rooler custom stickers and middleburn rs7;s

    picture_004_copy3.jpg

    thanks

It would be easier for echotron or some other smart cookie to 'shop the pic, if you get a direct side-on pic if you want them to change tires etc....its hard if it's squint cause they have to find a pic of a tire to put on top and its hard to find pics of tires at angles.......

    :-

  9. Righty, you say you photoshop stuff for folk?? well then, here you go:

Would like my frame to be gloss black all over, and the forks to be a gloss white please......., oh and could u throw these stickers on somehow...in white.......??? cheers.....

  10. That's exactly what he is having trouble doing with a cd!!

If the piston is moving in the mount when you tighten it it is because it isn't straight, or it's being over reached. If you look at the piston it's self there is only a smallish area that is flat enough to clamp the shims to.

I'm guessing you are having problems because of using a wide frame, but narrowish rim (521?)

well he's a titty then, it works for me fine...........don't come near me, I have exams at 7:45 in the morning for the new few day's, im rather grumpy so watch out, I might eat you..... :-

  11. Really ewasy way here...:

just put a 1 or 2 p coin hard against the rim, and set your brake up so it can hold the coin against the rim without you touching it/pulling the brake lever.......basically just set up it so the pad is hard against the coin, which in turn is hard against the rim..

then take the coins away, make sure the bolts are nice and tight, and your brake will feel PERFECT!

It's easier to do one side at a time.........

  12. OK, my mates wanting to start riding trials, woohoo!!!!

and he asked to find him a good starters bike that was cheap.

I immediately thought 'T-VEE', just want to know the usual info, cost, components list etc.

    cheers lads..

  13. I only know street tires, because I've ridden natural once and hated it. because it was hard....... :">

    REAR

Panaracer fire FR 2.4: A quality tire for street, chunky as fookery and not too fast wearing. Pinch protection is really good in comparison to the weight of it. A good tire to get for 19.99.

Intense comp 60: This is a complete HEEFER. It weighs a tonne but will never give u a pinch ever. hard tread though......... rather expensive though.

Tioga's: Aint very good, pinch protection is kinda of non existent and they are also kinda heavy. Dont go for these.......

    FRONT

IRC mythos XC 2.1: THese are closer to 1.9, weight nothing and have pretty decent PP.

Thats all I can tell for now, because I dont need any new tires oh well.
