  1. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God! Danny Macaskill on the PS3?! Oh my God, oh my God! Quick, everyone on Trials Forum, the eternal clouds that are ground breaking news have collided and caused massive storm of interest! Oh my God, oh my God, he played a game online with me?! Wow, Danny Macaskill has a PS3 and plays games? I thought he was far too famous for any of that. Wow, as if he does the same things that I do! I thought he would be out on his bike, like, all the f**king time?! If I had those skills I'd certainly be out all the time. Wow, I might add him as a friend, but wait, how do I know it's him? I could be someone impersonating him, because people are that sad enough...I better check with trials forum to make sure. What if it wasn't really him? What if I passed on credit card details to Danny Macaskill so I can publically claim to be his friend and it turns out to be Jack Meek? My life would be a complete failure and everyone on Trials Forum would laugh at me and call me a n00b. But I suppose I better make sure because If it is him then I'll have a famous person on the PS3 so I can ask him questions like 'How doz yer get sponzered by tartie bikez?' and 'Does you ever crash da bike?' - but what if he doesn't reply?! Oh my God, what if he actually ignores me because he doesn't know me from Adam?....Adam?!....Adam Read?! Adam Read works at Tartie Bikez, lets add him on too...many I can form a friend list of the world trials elite and my mates will be well jealous....oh, another idea....

    Get a life.

this made me laugh a lot

  2. i didn't actually paint it there i did it outside but it started to rain so i brought it in to dry in ma bath room lol

mum killed me as it was for bleeding my hs33s in the bbath an getting hydraulic fluid all over it lol

  4. You can run 18/15 as my mate is doing so on his. Mind you he runs a halflink chain like me.

I havent noticed the chain stretch as yet to be honest but only time will tell.

The ratio i am running suits me really well as its not to easy but not to hard. I used to run 16/12 and this is a slight bit easier to do stuff with.

  6. hi everyone i have a 24seven holroyd and have been riding it for bout 6 months now im really getting on with it but i have just managed to colapse the drive side bearings in the bottom bracket its the fsa one it came with so im not supprised it has gone.

can anyone recomend a fairly good one to replace it as i dont want to be replacing them every 6 months.

my budget is about 40 quid tops so not really the best busget i know

i was thinking along the lines of maybe a skf one

    http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2027

ps its isis that i need and dont have enough room for external bearing ones as i run a front f/wheel wand need to keep the chain line as straight as possible

  7. i also have one and i find it really nice to ride the one thing i did do though is to take the forks and replaced them with a set of fattys.

this allowed me to run front hs33 it also dropped the front givving it a more streety feel to it

overall i think it is a bargain for what you get i dont know any budget bike that rides this good for the money

  8. hi everyone i am running a gear ratio of 16t front freewheel and 12t rear fixed on my 26" at the moment and really like it the only problem is i need to replace my worn acs freewheel and all i can get is the same freewheel in 16t.

i have been offered an 18t eno for cheap and was wandering what size cog to go for on the rear i think it needs to be either a 13t of a 14t as i have ridden my friends set up with 18 15 and its to easy for me

can anyone help me decide which one i would be better off with(closest to what i am running currently) as i am a little stuck

    thanks in advance

    jamie

  9. thanks been riding for ages but only just got back into trials after 4 years out been back riding now for 3 months ish and picking it back up quite quickly.

the 24seven suits me perfectly now i have changed the forks over to some fattys and put a maggie on the front as i didnt like the flexy forks that it comes with standard and didnt get on with the disc

  10. if i was you i would start with a 26 because you are quite a tall chap you can get some good starter bikes on tartybikes.co.uk either that or ebay trials is quite hard to pick up but if you have the basic skills (good balance, back hopping etc ) you shouldnt take to long to start progressing
