  1. i used to swear by the old raceface square taper bottom brackets and also have had lot of use out of a hope one so i woould suggest spending some money and getting one of these if money is an issue the good old soid axle un52 is always a good cheap alternative

  2. this is all well and good but for us dislexic people we find it hard to do this. my dislexia is not with spelling but with sentence order and punctuation i am 21 and failed my gcse english language because of my punctuation but i passed my gcse english literature so although i try to help as best i can and post with relevent topics and replys does this mean i will never get validated?

  5. pads are brand new bought yesterday.

spent about hour yesterday stripping it down and bleedin them in the bath making sure it was totally air free

and spent bout 30 mins setting them up yesterday

i will try to re bleed them today and see if there might be an air lock somewhere

the thing is most of the time it works and locks fine but then every now and again just as i am starting to trust it again it just gives out and i end up on my ass lol

  7. hi i have seen a really cheap shogun gimp mod and i was wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them i no shogun bikes are crap but i had a little ride on one at my local shop and it seemed alright but then i have only been hopping around for 5 mins or so on it i was just wandering if the frame is any good (strength wise as i am trying to get back into the sport and am a little out of practice)

any replies will be greatly appreciated

  8. hi i had my bike stolen in the summer and was wandering if everyone can keep an eye out for me it is :

azonic ds2 brushed ally frame with an extra weld along the bottom of the seat post where it joins the bottom bracket,

chrome straight blade 5 piece forks,

    d521cd on bulb hubs,

    middleburn rs7 cranks square drive,

race face taper lock steel bottom bracket,

    road cassette.

    xt short cage mech,

    xt shifter,

    lx levers,

    xtr v breaks,

    snafu pedals,

    24/7 bars and stem,

    fsa pig headset,

i hope someone can help me out as i cant afford to replace this bike and insurance wont pay out as wasn't at my house when was stolen. the police are rubbish at finding bikes.

it was locked up before someone asks.

    thanks jamie :)

  9. hi i tend to use 1 finger for breaking most of the time i find it so much easier to controll it realy depends on your brake setup what leavers ect i use 1 finger if im using maggies but if im using v's i tend to use 2 to get a bit extra power on the breaks
