stock trials the real sport

the other day i managed to cross thread one of the holes in my 4 bolt mounts in my frame (saracen m.a.d) there is still some thread in there as i managed to put a bolt into it but i should think it will get worse over time when the thread eventually dies what do i do? I could tap a new thread myself but im not sure is there some kind of specialist way of doing it. What is helicoiling by the way, Thanks

i put on my rear maxxis minion today the dual ply side walls make my previous tyre (halo knobbler) look like poop! After about 30minutes of riding i can feel the difference the tyre feels pretty thick and strong and grip good 2 i would definately recomend a maxxis minion or highroller.

I need to invest in some new pads for my rear maggy and although there are so many i was wondering which will be the best for a smooth rim in dry conditions, and also which ones are just pants!

I know that its a 68cm but i dont know what the other length stands for. If it helps im fitting it with an onza armstrong crankset. Thanks

well i need to get the 05's cos the 04 odnt take big tyres the 05 ones take up to 2.5 inch tyres

All you need is a 9mm allen key and a bb tool that costs like £5 why not just do it yourself. But let him do the headset.

It depends what suits you better, what you ride better on and what you feel good on. Isn't it usually that taller people have longer frames. But shorter frames are easier on the back wheel normally.

im sure thats some kind of trend in LBS' they always think they know everything. If you have an evans cycles near you there great really helpful and not cockey
