  2. basically, on another forum (non bike related) someone has an Onza T-Rex for sale, 05 spec (i think) looks like this: it is advertised as "offers", so how much is it actually worth? Cheers Chris

  4. ok so heres the story..... i live in halls of residence while at uni in newcastle, i cam back on friday at 1.30pm parked my bike with the other bikes, however there was no space in the rack so i thought, ah its in our garage it'll be fine so i hid it behind the other bikes (not the brightest idea i know, but this was in our garage) so off i disappeared in my car.... came down into the garage this morning to go to uni....no where to be seen so i went to reception for the building and reported it missing to the house manager and he said i had to report it to the uni security dept which i did. i came back to see if the house manager had heard owt off security or involved the police so i could claim off my insurance, where he opened a store room and there it was!?!?! he said he found it dumped in one of the parking bays at lunch time-he checked the CCTV and it looked like someone borrowed it for a few hours to go somewhere/do something then just brought it back Cheeky Feckers!!!!! moral of the story kids....lock your bikes up or keep them under your bed in your flat

  12. i used to ride dirt myself a couple of years ago my mates went into street and i got into trials until i did my back in. that was a couple of years ago mind, so it could be anyone :turned: its not been until i moved to uni 3 months ago and i dont really have use for my car living close to uni and stuff so im getting my bike up here and getting back intoo riding. cheers for the welcoms btw! Chris
  13. yeh, i bought it in the closing down sale of a local shop as new old stock for £40. would hav ebeen great, if it wasnt bent :turned:
  14. yeh i knew that, but that onlt means the brakes dont line up ont back. you can get brackets which bolt into the 4 bolt magura mount on the frame to move the brakes up an inch for 26" rims. i have pics soem where i'll try and dig them out. the wheel was sitting at an angle in the dropouts and the wheel was a really tight squeeze into them. i took it to a frame builder who showed me what was wrong. one side of the rear end was twisted by 5mm so the sidewall off the tyre sat flush againt the rear triangle. here is the only pic i can find atm, i did have one showing the wheel in the frame but i cant find it
  15. hello everyone. My name is chris and ive been into bikes for ages. i first got into trials 2yrs ago but havent been able to ride much due to me having problems with my back. i recently bought a monty frameset to build my own 26incher which was going well until i bolted a rear wheel into it to find the frame was on the piss! so ive decided to use my Trek Bruiser which ive had for a while, im looking to get into trials and street with it. so far it is pretty standard apart form ive fitted a 32T chain ring. im living in newcastle at uni but im from lancaster originally. im also really into rallying, currently building my own rally car. im also into taking pictures and making videos (mostly skate stuff atm) :turned: Chris
