  1. Playstation 3 has backwards compatibility for PS2 and PS1 games. And anyway, the thing which pisses me off is when Xbox 360 fanboys keep saying how expensive the PS3 is but they are forgetting that over 20,000 Xbox360s sold on ebay when there was the initial shortage. All for over the retail price, one even sold for $10,000. Sony might as well charge £1000, it will still sell out.

PS3 is too cheap if anything. It will most likely sell out on the initial shipment.

  2. Hi, i will be in need of some new forks pretty soon and i was wondering if the Brisa elite 26" forks are any good? They are £102 and can be found on www.brisabikes.com. If it helps i will be running 4-bolt maguras and i will be riding street a lot more than natural.

  3. I think it'll probably be the ps3 due to the brand loyalty thing i.e. people who don't like change. Sony also have access to better games/developers e.g. the GTA series (I think xbox have that now though :S , but nintendo haven't anyway) <- bad example, only one I could think of :(

    Gran turismo HD

    Metal gear solid 4

    Grand theift auto 4

    Final fantasy VII

If those 4 are release titles then the PS3 will completely own the Xbox360. WII will always win in the end, Nintendo will be the only ones making a profit on their consoles. And as for HD-DVD vs Bluray...Well HD-DVD lost the war the day the Xbox360 shipped without it ;)

    PS3 games - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PS3_games

    Xbox360 games - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Games_for_the_Xbox_360

I think there are more games planned for the PS3 than the xbox 360 and it isnt even out yet! Judging by this, i think the Playstation 3 will be better than the Xbox360.

  4. Simon made a good point

If it is causing this much distress then whats the problem with just making everyone happy and leaving the end of your post with your name or "thank you" instead of a few words which don't mean anything to barely anyone.

    LOL does it really matter?

"Tonight on Fox News, traumatic events have collided on Forums nationwide as people are ending there posts with "Cheers, Name" arguements have spread nationwide to whether people should infact finish a topic with these comments?!

On Further News 1000 Vietnamese Children have been bombed........."

    Get my Drift

"Tonight on BBC news 24, opinions have collided on internet Forums nationwide as people who end their posts with "Cheers, Name" have taken to the streets in protest at being told to cut the last few words out of their posts. Such individuals have resorted to violence and abusive language, more on this story when people GROW THE F**K UP and listen to what other people think for a change!"

If you want your little slogan so bad, put it in your signature.

  5. A few days ago, i was thinking about maguras as i held some tissue to my nose to stop my nosebleed dripping blood everywhere... Can you bleed maguras with blood...not magura blood but, your own blood  I was thinking the amount of nosebleeds i get i could easily collect enough blood to bleed one of my maguras through...

Its just the thought of a hose ripping and seeing your brake actually bleed all over your frame :P It would be so cool!

  6. Stick with magura fluid if i where u, safe option plus if u use water it voids any warranties

    no no no NOOOOOOO

Who would really be stupid enough to send your magura back to them saying "oh i bled it with water", if it f**ks up, just bleed some magura oil through it and send it back. Simply as that (Y)

Its like people saying, "only use magura pads because it voids the warrenty if you dont" Well how about you just put your old magura ones back on before you send the magura back :ermm:

And by the way, Water for the win definitely, i much prefer it.

  7. Basically its a big machine which you dump all your coins into, it counts them all up and displays how many of each coin you put in. And just so you know the percentage that they take out goes to charity, so i wouldn't call it stealing :ermm: and besides, he thought it was only £30, he got £100 more than he expected, surely thats good enough without complaining about the £11 or whatever that the charity "stole" off him?

  8. A short review about the truvativ hussefelt trials crankset.

Crankset - Truvativ hussefelt ISIS trials crankset

    Price - £49.99

    Colours - Black

    cog size - 22T

    Brought from - Chainreactioncycles - http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=8306

I really needed to write a review on this crankset as i think it is great value for what you get. First things first, i have had this crankset for just over a year now and it is still going strong...yes just over a year for £50. There is no choice in colour which is slightly disappointing but all black looks fine on any bike. The weight is fairly light but there is lighter ones out there. The whole item weighs 785g, i didn't think this was too bad as the crankarms themselves are very big. Please note that this crankset is meant for a 4 bolt 22 tooth chainring. I know that most riders nowadays ride with smaller front chainrings, but i ride 22tooth and i know that a few pro riders such as ryan leech still use 22tooth. Infact ryan leech uses this exact same crankset. The bashgaurd on this crankset is extremely tough and you can unbolt it and move it around in a circle and bolt it back on in a total of 4 different positions allowing you to get full use out of it. So far i have only moved it around 1/2 a turn so i still have half the bashgaurd to go before it needs replacing. The bashgaurd itself has jagged tooth like edges which help grip onto walls etc. The crankset has an ISIS fitting which is better than square taper fittings as it is harder to round off unlike square taper which can easily wear and develop play. The cranks are very easy to put on, you just slide them on and tap them gently until they are right up against the bb shell and then you screw in the crankbolt. simple! The crank arms are 170mm long, please be warned that these crankarms may make contact with your magura slave cylinders as they slightly rubbed mine. I am running an adamant A2 frame with an onza reggie rear rim. On my previous frame (saracen team urban) the crank arms didn't touch the cylinders at all, so i think it is just a question of which frame you are running.

Overall i am going to give this product a 9/10 purely because of how long it has lasted for the small price tag of £50. You really cannot go wrong with this product, if you are in need of a crankset but are on a tight budget then this is the one to go for.

Hope this has been of use to people

  9. First things first...use the spell check (Y) It took me about a minute to read your post when it should have taken around 20 seconds. If you want a chance of being validated then correct spelling is essential.

In answer to your question your best bet is to bleed your brake in a bath as anzo said, and then do the 2p trick. Also are you tightening the bolts up enough, when i first got maguras i didn't tighten them enough allowing the pistons to slowly ease away from the rim everytime i braked heavily.

  10. It is good sometimes but i definitely agree with the older generatiosn generally moaning more. One time i was at my local resturant which is on a public park type thing with stairs and walls. So there i am riding along a wall with a 2 foot drop the other side just practising balancing and this old woman comes up to me and says:

"Dont do that...you'll break the wall down"

But the other day i was out with 2 of my mates riding at the same place and when i got there 1 of my mates was already there riding around with about 10 little kids (aged 10-14) watching him and commenting on how cool he was. When i turned up and started riding i could hear them saying, "the one in the red is better" (me) That was kinda cool as :Plol

  11. What were you doing on a site called

    www.gayattitude.com/photo/n/o/nothing/20051220-100972083443a87588db9bc.jpg

Because he wants to  Whats wrong with that, what if hes is gay? seriously, think about it before you post mindless crap. It was funny, end of.

On the subject of scooters there is a kid who comes up my local skatepark on it and he can double tailwhip down a little stair set and he can also 180 the quarterpipe and do a "scooterflip". Basically you just jump off the scooter and spin it around a whole rotation next to you, just holding on with 1 hand and bring it back round and land back on it...crazy he has way too much time on his hands.

  12. I get so much trouble from chavs, (haywards heath, west sussex) It is ridiculous. My mates brother got beaten up because he asked for HIS football back off them at school and then they came up to my mate and said why were you staring at us yesterday...well wouldn't you if someone was beating up your brother. Even though there was 7 of them and only 4 of us they didn't try anything. mainly because my mate who they were starting on was holding his old bmx bars which he had just taken off, and i had my hand in my bag ready to whip out my 36mil adjustable spanner.

Last week on a night ride we were riding around the back of tesco express at about 10.30 and there were about 5 18 year olds walking the same way as us but 1 turned around and then they all stopped and started walking towards us saying things like, "look at those f**king bikes" "f**king stab one" etc so we decided to ride off.

One of my friends has had 3 bmxs stolen off him, one time they unbolted a gate which was bolted to the ground and lifted the fence over his lock...arghhh i could go on all day.

But i definitely agree on having some kind of tool which can be used as a weapon such as an adjustable spanner.

  13. Don't, stick with tartybikes, i brought a rear magura off them and it took around a week to deliver and arrived in the official magura box with a huge rip on the box so the brake was practically hanging out of it. Just look at the website. A drunk chimpanzine could make a better website than that. They dont have a clue what they are doing, honestly dont risk it.

  14. lol, some bmxer i know told me they have seen a video of someone in a pedalhop position and they kick so hard that they back flip and land flat on both wheels :ermm: I highly doubt that this has been done personally. Anyone heard of it?

  15. Well, if you think about it...20" and 26" if you write down all the numbers inbetween the 2 you get this,

    20 --- mod

    21

    22

    23

    24 --- onza zoot

    25

    26 --- stock

As you can see there is a smaller gap inbetween 24" and 26" so i would say that the onza zoot is more like a stock than a mod.
