  1. lol

    they're in the "latest updates" section on tarty - just scroll down a bit on their home page.

    all it say is this:

    We have had a large delivery from Echo, all the items apart from the new frames have been added to our site ready for purchase! The TR and SL freewheels are particularly impressive, their mechanism is extremely positive and the bearing system is serviceable and runs very smoothly.

    Pictures of the new frames (ZOO! Lynx, ZOO! Piranha, Echo Pure, Echo Lite and Echo Kid) will be on our site early next week.

    happy now?

    I was just about to say that, but i think they wanted to know where all the geometries came from.

    Whats happened to Adamant? :

  2. Not likely to happen on a chris king hub, they all use HG spline sprockets which is nominally 1.37" (1 3/8" or 34.925 mm), a 9 tooth driver is smaller than that :)

    The driver youve shown is from freecoaster hub which is very different to a king.

    It is possible that chris king could come up with a 9t integrated driver/driveshell arrangement for their bmx hubs but to be honest I dont think there is the demand for them.

    Ahh, fair enough.

    I knew that was from a freecoaster, but i just thought there may be something similar that screws into the same thread type as a freehub body on a normal cassette wheel, but i guess Chris King hubs are by no means normal :P

  3. Just wondering if its possible to get a 9 Tooth driver on a Chris King BMX hub?

    Anyone got any experience with this kinda thing?

    I was thinking, maybe it would be something similar to this;

    BPC323647.jpg

    that screws into the hub, but im not sure if thats how the Chris King hubs work. I know the smallest cog they come with is a 12tooth, but surely theres a demand for a 9tooth in the BMX world >_<

    Thanks in advance if anyone can help!

  4. Thank you for all the comments! ^_^

    It seems people either love the tyres or hate them. I do sometimes change them to normal black tyres just for a change, but its like most things. Once you have fitted something unusual and kept it for some time, you become attached to them and i have to say, these tyres have grown on me. Don't get me wrong, i also think it looks awesome with black tyres, but as i said, im kinda attached to the red ones :wub:

    Maybe il put my black tyres back on and post the pics of it then.

    Shame i dont have a red Chris King hub too... that always annoys me >_<

  5. like that alot, not so sure on the tyres though (N), does it ride nicely, it looks pretty long ?

    I really like it. To be honest though, theres only 1 other 26" Trials rider that i see often, so ive only got his bike to compare to. He has a GU (Long frame) and it feels totaly different. (My frame is the short version btw)

  6. Thought i'd post up some pictures of my A2. Spec is below the pics.

  7. Yeah, thats why i was asking. Do YOU really think that song represents Danny's riding.....really?

    Yes, i do.

    I would describe the original music as Funeral music. Not music to put to someone doing tailwhips and flairs.

    Not being funny, but i liked that!! Music was awesome :turned:

    HOWEVER!

    It wasn't as good as the original, but respect for having a go at this :turned:

    Thankyou ^_^

    I don't expect people to prefer it to the original, but i expected a few people to enjoy it none the less...

  8. Has it not occurred to you that whoever made the video might have edited the video so it goes with the audio? You can't just apply different music.

    Thats like saying, dont cut up parts of a film and put your own song to it (which there are lots and lots of on youtube) because some movie studio spent millions editing it with the song they picked?

    Its not like im pretending this is the ACTUAL video. Ive specifically said, I downloaded the original video... blah blah

  9. Loved the original video, but i seem to be one of the very few who really dont like the song :(

    I got bored a few nights ago so i decided to put my choice of music to the video, this ofcourse meant re-editing it to fit. Youtube link below...

    Linky

    The song is Disturbed - This Moment

    I have my doubts about what people will think about the song, but i personally much prefer it, so its been worth it from my point of view ^_^

  10. Good;

    Chris King Classic rear hub - Worth every single penny

    SKF-BFR600 - Worth every penny

    Shimano Sora rear mech - Less than £10 and its lasted over a year so far (as a chain tensioner)

    Magura HS33 - Just, f t w

    KHE Collapse chain - Ive had 3 now and ive never had a single problem with any of them (i buy a new chain about every 6 months, or less)

    Try-all rims - Been running the same pair of Try-alls for about 2 years now.

    Bad;

    The older Saracen frames - Snapped a Team Issue, Cracked a 2six, Still got a Team Urban but i didnt trust it so i got a new frame lol

    Brisa forks (26") - Snapped :(

    Magura TPA wheels - Excellent idea, terrible execution (yes i know they arnt meant to be used for constant adjustment... but plastic? who thought that was a good idea?)

  11. Yep - 'cause you get punctures bigger than an 1/8th all the time

    Funny you should say that...

    I got a nail in my rear tyre today and it was over 1/8th of an inch. I actually brought it home to measure how wide it was ^_^
