  1. Honestly... f**k the weather lol, me and a few others rode around London area in the pissing rain earlier saturday. I'm relying on you guys not to pussy out of the ride because of bloody H20... :-

Might do the stpauls gap again, i need to get that on my camera for once.

I'll be easy to spot, I'll be on a green unicycle. Sponge is coming too, on his Python or unicycle.

  2. Joe, he can get higher sidehopping his bike than his unicycle easily. Plus I think he only really started actually putting his mind to sidehopping his bike around the time you got a GU. It's also worth bearing in mind that Sponge learnt and picked up uni trials extremely quickly, much much faster than 95% of people, and learns and improves his uni trials at an extremely rapid rate. It's not really normal. However, regardless of that, he can still sidehop his bike higher and he also says that its easier to improve height on his bike than his unicycle when he really needs to. It's kinda like his gapping, he's pretty decent at gapping a unicycle on low rail to rail gaps etc.. but he can so easily get much further gaps on his bike especially recent days. Drivetrain+handlebar is a f**k load better than just your bodymovement and a seat.

  3. Theoretically, the Echo Isis External BB kinda seems to solve all the problems encountered with normal Isis BBs. So I guess... :turned:

Anyway, both are decent designs... I'd choose taper or Isis over shit like Profile 48 spline or the other 36 spline BMX garbage you find. If the Echo Isis External BB really is as strong as its designed to be, what with its big bearings and chunky axle... could it be a possible option for serious BMXers out there? Seeing as the Echo BBs look pimp and plus they are 10x easier to install an isis crankset than a stupid 36/48 spline 3 piece bollock.

  4. I bet that Try-All rims are still gonna be weak even if they make these modifications. I don't know if it's just chance, but it always seems that the narrower 19" rims are stronger such as: Ronnie, Kris Holm, DX32.

Hog, Viz, Koxx, Echo 2006 all seem weak compared to those 3 above..

Koxx 2006 rims come in all the usual colors like Silver, Gold, Red, Blue, Black, and now also in Fluo colors: Green, Pink, Yellow. Oh, and not many people have taken notice ever before, but a white Koxx rim is out too!:

  5. for f**k sake all sponge did on the whole ride was talk bout his blooming uni. we got separated from the group when he went to get £2 off one of you guys. So we ended up sitting by the tate having ultimate munch and all he did was talk about his uni cycle

he got so depressed he even wen round and counted all the profiles that were getting run because his uni is a profile one???

and in that pic sponge went to go to pedal on someone elses uni went to go to pedal and nearly fell flat on his ass in that picture i was just like sponge....... what the fook are you playing at??

WOAH, chill ur beans mate, a bit of overexagerration isn't nice at all if your trying to slag someone off. He mentioned his unicycle/ing perhaps but not talk about it all the time during your 'munch'. Plus, you may realise that he wasn't actually depressed at all? He went around counting probably for the hell of it as a joke?

And when he went on my uni to go to pedal, he didn't nearly fall flat on his arse, he failed a bit first time and bailed safely. And what he's playing at is having goes at bigger things to improve his riding.

    Joe. :)

  6. Looks nice, headtube a bit of an Echo Team copy, but hey everyone does it these days.. chainstays at 355mm are a bit short for some people out there, but does feel really flicky with short stays. Also what is it with the Russians and titanium ^_^

  7. No Ben, you misunderstand, he meant that I, Joe Hodges, can pedal-stall and up 42"..., actually I think it could be even higher, whatever 8 blue pallets are in inches..48"?

sponge can pedal stall and up around 27" at his max.. considering he's been riding for about 3 months on uni, its quite good.
