  1. hello people i know this is not the best of topics but im fed up with the amount of people that ask me where my bikes seat is. i think i might type out my explanation and keep it with me whenever i ride because i ahve 2 explain it so many times a day it drives me crazy. this also tells me that with the amount of people that ride trials it is still a very limited audience and we need to somehow advertise it more and try and get more trials shows on t.v. maybe do a trials version of drop in or something. this would bring more people to recognise the sport and raise awareness of the fact that you do not have a seat on a trials bike. thanks for reading will
  2. so why dont you get the poor person that u make buy you clothes spend some money on your bike. dan would help you. one item of clothing that you mite need is a sports bra otherwise you will achive nothing but black eyes when riding. so people think that you are pretty eh. are they blind or desperate. hehe will
  3. i found it a problem to begin with but i found that its easyer to try and get on with tem and talk to them than trying 2 fight them. i now find that i know most of the 'chavs' and so i get along with them and we seem 2 manage to have a laugh. quite good rele allthough i still get the odd few @*%^s that seem to find it funny to shout abuse at me.
  4. well are u a sexy girl or ungly personally i would look on ebay 4 a bike and maybe buy a t-mag or summink. otherwise you could try not to buy some clothes for the next few weeks and then save up a little more money and buy a t-pro. they are pretty ok bikes from what i know even though i ride 26inch. hehe will
  5. youll have to get used to it mate. i ride everyday and have done for ages and still get blisters. normally i ride untill ma hands are bleeding and by christ does it hurt but it depends how much yopu ride and how much fun your having. maybe invest in a more comfy set of gloves. are u using xc gloves because they work the best? and also try getting a slighty softer set of grips that are more compfy. will
  6. to be honest i only use 1 finger while braking, its all you need if your brakes are good enough. i also position the lever a little way away from the grip to give a good fiunger position on it. will
  7. after a lot of thought about wether to continue to ride stock or convert to mod i have decided to continue riding stock but i now have a bit of a dilema i am getting a new frame and dont know wether to get an echo control or a ashton justice i like both of them but i sont know which on e to get help me please P>S i ride maionly street and a tiny bit of natural
  8. that has happened 2 mine also its allways been a problem with maguras the only thing i can tell you to do is either buy a new one or try making your own.
  9. i suppose that is quite a funny spelling mistake. luckily for me this time me and my bike did not have a scrath on it. which is more than i can say about the car, it had to be about £1000 worth of damage no jokes. u dont normally hear of the cyclist doing over a car do you!
  10. look on ebay or have a look around the for sale section of the forum and see if theres any good deals
  11. nice one mate. youll have to tell me how it rides as im lookin at 20" bikes at the moment.
  12. just bleed it in the bath quicker, cheaper and a lot easyer. also youll have a less spongey lever and there is no problem with the water freezing because it is the summer. will
  13. i find it easyest to just use some of the elastic things that hold things on and just pretty much chuck youe bike flat on top then tye it up works for me
  14. hi i have started this topic to see how many people have been hit by carless drivers while riding their bikes. i got hit earlier today and am pretty pissed off to be honest as this is the 4th time in about 2 years. what makes matters worse is that i was riding on the pavement.
