  11. if you are just starting out i would say either sumthing cheap like onza t-vee/t-bird or a little more expensive onza t-pro/t-mag its not what you ride its how you ride it you can not purchase from the for sale/wanted without being a member i tried and got a warning so dont even try it
  12. i should be coming in as well sounds like it mite be fun only thing is i cant stay in that late got a bbq to go to and if u know me i dont pass food or free beer but i can ride untill bout 4:30 i think hopefully all the lincoln lads should be out me= mellon coolbeen= shaun paul matt toby maybe parr and maybe a few others hope to see u then people M3LLON
  13. i have also wandered that my self also but it appears not to be the case because you a not gaurenteed to get the freewheel and the hub engageing at them same time so im not exactly sur on that one ISIS BB? Yes, In my opinion anyway, its a little more expensive, but its a lot more secure. Make sure you keep your eye on the cracks though, because unlike square tapers, if an ISIS comes loose and it wears in, you're possibly looking at a new BB and cranks. one tell tale sign off a loose ISIS is a weired crunchy squeaky noise so if you run an ISIS and you think it sounds like the bearings in your pedals have gone check the bb and crank out quick
  14. i can personally recomend the zoo! risers if an echo team stem they feel grate you need to adjust to them but they feel ace and it feels so much easier to ride wiht risers compared to flats
  15. try looking at items from a different point of view if u know what i mean its all mindset if u think something is to hard to get up it will be if you think you will bail droping something then you pretty much will just be positive and build up to the harder stuff. i personally thourght that i wouldnt be able to drop my own height but i just thourght the worst that could happen is i could jar my wrists or ankles which i did the first time but i got back up there and did it
  16. i have only been riding for 7 months but the way i see it is that in everything its out with the old in with the new so some things wont survive, personally i cant see the ashtons lasting long at all. companies like echo zoo gu monty and so on are just firing out new designs that are different and that is what people want nobody wants to be plagued by the old. and the dual disc bikes i think are all about looks rather than the brakes performance, its like a status symbol although the lad with the dual discs maybe rich as hell but what can he do on his £1000 bike, whereas the lad with the HS33's rules ass on his bike somethings will change everything is all about progression in this world not being harsh at all but get used to it mate
  17. i just want to get peoples opinions on riding so what do you preffer and why??? street??? natural??? skateparks??? comp style???
  18. yeah i have got to a gree with the walk away synopsis but if you find that you cant just make sure you take a nice big spanner or a DK random wrench(nasty tool) and if things get out of control just whip it out and they will walk if not just whack em if there is no option of walking away
  19. BB: i have heard that sqaure tapers are easier to round of and i have seen it happen on bikes before not nice, plus a lot of companys are now making there cranks and BB's in ISIS. so the general upside is the ISIS taper is supposed to be stronger than the sqaure HUBS: if your running a front freewheel you dont need anything expensive eg. onza echo fixed if not u want a profile or king cassette hub bit pricey though FREEWHEEL CLICKS: the clicks that you hear are the engagement points if you have a ACS you get a few clicks but if you run an ENO you get a really nice constant pur i would also point out that the ENO has the same engagements as the chris king hub so why spend £300 on a king hub when you could spend £80 on an ENO and £60 on an echo hub and £12 on a fixed sprocket thats only £152 just half price of a king isnt it
  20. the only thing to do then is FLOOD THEM IN EMAILS and they aint going to think the trials world aint so small afterall because it aint really its world wide so everyone who can email extremesports and show your veiws on putting televised trials on there channel
  21. look at the t-mag or t-pro mate they are nice bikes really easy to ride and feel quite easy to manouver i think anyway
  22. my feeling is put it on tv and people will see it correct, if people cant see it they dont know about it
  23. i have been thinking for a while now why isn't trials on tv (extreme sports channel) on there is BMX, bladers, skateboarders and snowboarders why isn't our sport televised i think our sport is more technical and challenging than any other out there e.g. judgement and balance. personally i think trials should be on tv i have only ever seen leeches MANIFESTO on extreme it ain't enough in my opinion any way enough of my complaining what do you feel as trial riders???? cheerez mellon
  24. dude if you want a louder noise go for a cassete if the trial god wanted the ENO to click louder he would of created it that way and plus if you do bend the pawls out whats to say it might ruin an £80 freewheel mine sounds nice and performs ace my advice leave it be cheerez mellon
  25. u you could get a zip but i would rather go for the real thing get a python or a gu only thing with a gu is that chain tugs aint gonna be a fat load of good
