  1. Gladly. You guys sound like the LAST thing this sport ever needed.
  2. Like I said, some 17 year old know-all, sat in his bedroom.
  3. MODS: I know about the whole for sale in the new members section ("NMC" if your too cool for skool ) but PLEASE help me out here, I'm just trying to flog my bike! Its sad enough for me already! Like I said before, I've been a member for years, and never got upgraded! Throw me bone! Cheers Andy
  4. You'd think that was cheap wouldn't you! But surely someone would have snapped my arm off by now if it was! I'm amazed there has been no bids and not much interested though?!? I'm still hoping for a last minute rush!
  5. Hi all! Just a quick one, I've been riding trials for over 10 years, but am now giving up the sport for new challenges and to that end heres my ebay link: (mods i know its against the "rules" but hey, help me out and post it in the proper forum! I've been a member for nearly four years by the way!) Adamant A1 £295 (reserve £199 ) Sorry to hijack the new members threads, Thanks, Andy King
  6. I thought i was ard till this happened!! i think i'll just let it grow back, and hope the pain stops quick! Going up to the hampshire trial this weekend too! Ive been nominated to take the pictures now thats just torture!!
  7. I bloody fell off last night :$ doing a stupid little gap, anyway on the way down i caught my thumb nail and it got ripped the feck off, i never realised how much it could hurt! anyone else ever done this? how long does the pain last for? I WANT TO RIDE AGAIN!!!
  8. I think anyone i've rode with has fell into the extreme sports/skater collumn. Its like that thread before about silly questions, you just tell people its like bmx with big wheels, squeaky brakes and no saddle! It doesn't really matter that we dont fall into a category, thats a good thing! I like the fact that people are still amazed when they see you hop onto the back of a bench! (apart from THAT moaning old cogger!)
  9. i would have done, if ; a: it didnt sound dodgy as anything! b: you wasnt a dirty b*****d and cleaned your desk!! c: you wasnt choosing such a rubbish tarts phone! sorry dude!!
  10. a respray if done well, can add a really cool custom look to an otherwise ordinary frame! i would say go for it, just to be a bit different! If you can afford it (it wont cost too much, £15-30 ish) get a pro to do it, they know how to prep it all properly and wil l have a good work space free of dust etc. A local car repair/restore place is the best place to start, and if the frame is already painted, they might even suggest a sandblast (not as harsh as it sounds!) to get a good adheisive surface!! oh and DEFO go for black! matt black at that! it looks like a stealth fighter type finsh! best of luck mate! we wanna see pics of the finished product!!
  11. HAHAHA not this year it wont!! half the fun of nass is being able to have a ride in the mad set up and have a stroll around loads of awsome sports (and get a bargain or two at the trade stalls), then off back to your tent to have a laugh and a few beers, then back to see stuff again! i dont think its gonna be fun gettin a "shuttle bus" when your drunk! Ah well, Nass is a victim of its own success! RIP NASS! cheers!
  12. using water in hydraulic brakes keeps coming up on here, generally its a bad idea, you need the correct oil in all brakes for lubrication etc alot of people use it in hs33's,but you MUST bleed regularly, and MUST add anti freeze, but its still abad idea!! (alot of stuborn people on here will say otherwise though?!?) NEVER EVER EVER use water in a disc brake though, amongst other things, disc brakes generate a huge amount of heat, water will just boil off andbecome useless! also it will rust and then seize the piston in the caliper body! Just dont be a cheapskate and use the proper stuff for the proper brake, its onlycheap anyway!! cheers Andy King
  13. i'd just like to add a comment about the 05 / 06 thing i got a new hs33 last week and it says 06 on the manual, they are no different to the 05's granted, but if thats what it says they are, then thats what you write down!! and since when did it matter??? "i think he means 05's" shut up!! (rant over)(bad morning) cheers!
  14. whos got a ten foot barge pole?!!
