  1. Hi, to answer your question Ewan i would just use water now i am going to change mine soon. It makes the brake feel really firm and strong. Here are some pictures of my bike for everyone who is interested: I love my bike. Thanks everyone for your positive response. From Stuart.
  2. It rides really nice. It is definitely the best bike i have ever had and would hate to get it stolen or for the from to snap. From Stuart.
  3. Hi, I have been on the forum for a few months now but have never really introduced myself. My name is Stuart, I am 14 years old and have been riding for about two years. But i am not brilliant at the sport yet. I am from Stonehaven in scotland, which is a brilliant area for trials and there are allot of good spots. Me and a few mates go into Aberdeen on the train almost every weekend, as it is even better there. I ride a Gu Typhoon 20" long frame, which I have fully modified. Here is a quick spec: Forks: Echo easy forks Brakes: HS33 04's bled with water and de-icier Cranks: Tensile 2006 UCI urban legends Rear Wheel: hub-profile, rim-koxx Front Wheel: hub-Hope xc, rim-echo (old one) Bars: Echo tough I really enjoy riding it. Although it is a long frame and I am fairly short. Sorry about the belated introduction of myself but i hope you don't mind. Thanks from Stuart.
  4. I ride a Gu 20" and it flexed quite allot with no booster but as soon as i got the RB booster on my bike my brake was solid. Hope the answers your question (even though my experience was with a mod). Thanks from Stuart.

  12. Hi Olly, i think this is happening because your pad is rubbing. Thanks. From Stuart.
  13. Hi. Maybe whats happening to your brake is that the water is freezing and expanding therefor breaking the seals. Just a thought your probably right as well because water is slightly alkali and de-icier is very acidic. Thanks from Stuart.
  14. Hi. The bolt is tight it just sticks out a bit. If what you say is true you can't tighten it no more. There is nothing wrong with it mate don't worry. Thanks and i hope i've answered your question correctly. From Stuart.
  15. Hi. I had the same problem mate. So I took a blow torch and heated up the part of the frame around the BB so that the metal would expand. The BB came out easily and my old frame had no damage not even to the paint work. Hope my advice was appreciated. From Stuart.
  16. Hi, i'm not to sure if you can get a magura for that amount of money but i think you could get a set of 04's from somewhere for about £75. Hope i've help you mate. Thanks from Stuart.

  18. I was just trying to open an interesting topic. Anyway i'm not trying to be exact i was just wondering how big everyone would go seen as you "float in space." Thanks from Stuart. P.S sorry if that came across as me being grumpy.
  19. Hi, i think my tensile urban legends (170mm) are the best ever. Just the right amount of leverage they feel smooth aswell. Thanks from Stuart.
  20. Hi, i just had a thought how big you would be able to go on your bike with no gravity (the moon). I was just wondering what everyone hear would do on the moon, for example i would attempt a 30ft gap!(my normal sized gap is just over a bike length ). It would be ace to go riding on the moon but it costs like 6 billion pounds i think. Thanks from Stuart.
