  1. I had my first trials bike for about 3-4 years, I still have the frame in my garage. It was an old club roost stinger frame, old but it was solid. The reason i had it for as long as i did is simply because i couldn't afford to get a new one plus i liked it too much, But the time came to get something new... At the moment i don't have a bike because i got fed up with the one i had, It just didn't ride the way i like a bike to so i'm in the process of getting a new bike. Been looking at the Ashton Justice, When i get it i'll put some pics on here...
  2. Nice ride you got there, Not really my style but i like colour. Thats so shiny do you ever ride it?
  3. Interesting topic, I myself cannot help you with that one but both myself and a friend of mine are looking at getting new bikes soon and this is something that neither of us knows a great deal about. So i would be very interested to find out what peoples opinions on this topic are. Thank you all in anticipation of your reply...
  4. Yeah the last headset i had was (Well still is) a pig, Pretty solid. Both me and a friend of mine use them and we have never had a problem with them...
  5. Ok the first time i saw trials was the video Dirty Tricks & Cunning Stunts with the two martins, After that i was hooked. I had to borrow a bike from a friend of mine to get started until i could afford one of my own, Unfortunately i'm in between bikes now. I had an Onza T pro for a while but i didn't like it as much so i sold that on and i'm now saving for a new frame, Hopefully be back out soon though I'm getting so bored without a bike...
  6. My last bike had a 9 speed cassette on the back but i just removed the shifter and locked the rear mech in place so it was running single speed My next bike i'm going to build with a single speed setup, Gears just get annoying its one more thing on the bike that can go wrong, The last thing you want in the middle of a move is the gears to slip or jump, It hurts trust me...
  7. Hey sweet pics man, Can't wait to get my new bike so i can get some shots of me in action. Me and a couple of mates are going to try and make a video in summer so if all works out as planned i will post it on here...
  8. The last trials bike i had was fitted with a Hope Mono m4 with 160mm Disc, It was a good brake but I'm going to stick with Magura rim brakes from now on. The only reason i had the disc was because the frame i had only had disk mounts so i had no choice.
  9. My perfect bike would be anything at this moment in time, Reason being i don't have a bike at the moment but i'm busting to get back out on one as soon as. I have my eye on the Echo Control frame, Looks good, Not too pricey so that frame with whatever parts i choose to put on it would be my perfect bike.
  10. Thanks for all your replys and suggestions. I have been looking around and i quite like the look of the Onza Limey. I was wondering if any of you have one of those and what your evaluation of it is, whether you think its a bike worth getting. Thanks again Bazz
  11. At the moment i have an old Club Roost stinger with loads of random parts. Problem is none of the parts are really built for trials. I'm looking for something built for the job and money's not really a problem.
  12. Hey people I'm new to the forum (quite obvious really) so i thought i'd introduce myself, The names Barry but i'm known as Bazz, I come from the berkshire area. Been riding a while so i'm not too bad lol... I have got a question for you all though, As i said ive been riding a while but my bikes getting a bit old and tatty, I'm going to get a new bike soon but i dont know alot about whats out there so i wondered if anyone has any suggestions to help me in my decision, I ride 26" so those diddy onza's are out. Any info is much apreciated... Thanks.
