  1. Looks fit mate!!! Get some old style zoo bars on there and an echo team stem, and youl almost have my old set up Ohhh how i miss my GU! Real nice looking bike though dude! Get a vid on the go Owen
  2. Haha, you have to spread the word that its called an Owen chain tensioner!! Well when riding along you could always just take the spoke off the chain, so you can still go rapid (if thats possible on a trials bike) Yeahh mine sounds like i got two freewheels now Owen

    My Echo

Yeahh fo'sho matey! You know little wheels are better! Yours sausage got thrown, ill replace it soon though Cheers matey, will have to get a ride on with you soon! Owen
  4. It works surprisingly well to be honest! So far i havent had any problems with it, just occasionally i have to bend it down a bit more for better tension, but thats it really. Used it on about 2-3 small rides now, and seems to be fine, and because its tucked away behind the chainstay almost, i havent yet landed on it! Owen
  5. Ahh right, perfect then! I just saw it in trials chat and presumed they wer for trials! Hope you like the shoes if you do buy them, they are a great set of shoes! Owen
  6. Niice! Is that the long or short? Iv got one, and it rides awsome! How you find yours? Owen
  7. Here you go, but only because you begged Jobs a good'un Bare in mine its only realyl in prototype at the moment. For the next one i think im going to bend the spoke round the chain, so that it almost hugs the chain. But for now, that is working really well, and as its tucked away, i havent yet landed on it! Owen
  8. Good shoes! But not for trials! Theyre SPD shoes, which means they are meant for cleated pedals (where you attatch your foot to the pedal) therefore will have a really stiff sole, meaning theyre a no-no for trials! Get some DC or fox shoes or simlar ones. If not Ribo's are surposed to be good. Hope i helped
  9. Just went out for a ride on my bike with the bodged tensioner! Works really well, but still needs tweeking! Stuff needed: a spoke, maybe two two or three cable ties plyers screwdriver (maybe) Thats it! Right. start by bending the spoke to an angle between 45 and 90 degree's about a third of the way down the spoke. Then, bend the very end of the spoke up (to allow the tensioner to work forwards and backwards). Next, cable tie the end that hasnt been bent over to your chainstay, with the bent angle pointing down towards and past your chain, pull the posh tensioner (spoke) onto your chain, pushing it down. Pull the cable ties tighter with plyers and a screw driver (or whatever) to stop it from moving as much. And bish bash bosh, you have yourself an owen tensioner! Ill get pics later! Hope this helps, if not tell me and il explain it better! Owen
  10. Course im not being serious! Not like ill miss an exam to ride! Was only joking! Owen
  11. The bmx ones look gash! Foam grips are ok, but started to hurt my hands after a while! And are like ice on the bars when its raining! However, i did used to get along with the halfords foamies Ben is on about! 4 sets of grips for £5, you cant really complain! Owen
  12. Go with the one with the upside down csp then! Cant be disqualified for that! If you are, its through jelousy, as they all know you have the best looking simtra on the forum! Owen
  13. Steve, get a better pic than that matey!!! We both know your bike can win this all important competition!! Your bike is almost as fit as you Owen

  17. Most people who i know who run cams have the same problem, including myself! I set my chain tension perfect, after about 5 kicks, its back like your nans tits (not aimed at anyone). Thats why i have bodged myself a tensioner, like a propper one! Easy to do! Ill put up pics and decsription of mine if you like. Or you could buy a propper one, like a 74kingz one or something? I know your not by yourself with the saggy chain problems though! Owen
