Thats a good beginner FAQ, but theres nothing about geometry much. I was thinking it could be about what kind of effect wheelbases and BB heights have on how a bike rides. Stuff like that. Saves people starting threads about it?

I was thinking a few more FAQs. The main two I thought could be really useful are - An FAQ on different bike bits - frames/manufacturers, info on products, reliability etc. Or perhaps even a sub-forum where users can post reviews of trials gear? And, an FAQ on bike geometry/other stuff. Long wheelbase vs. short wheelbase, high BB vs. low BB, dropouts (horizontal vs. vertical), front free wheels/fixed cog etc. Basically, thats everything there that I don't really understand, and I wouldn't say no if someone offered to explain them all to me , but something like that could be pretty useful for newer riders perhaps?

I've been riding since christmas. My best/favourite moment was probably learning to zap tap (I think thats what its called....getting the front wheel on to the edge of a ledge or just hitting it on the corner, then hopping and shooting up) up about 2 - 2.5 feet. My confidence just sky-rocketed. I was buzzing for weeks

Aye, thats what I thought. Some of the new episodes are alright though. But that one just made me never want to watch the office again.

I'm absolutely positive I've read that exact same thing somewhere before? Where did you get it from? It's driving me mad trying to think where I've seen it before!

As of last night, I can't pull my rear brake, at least for the time being I got knocked out cold with a log by some chavs last night, and its messed up the nerves in my left hand. Besides that, my worst injuries have all been pedal to shin related.

Hello, I'm Billy. I've been riding trials roughly since Christmas, when I got my first trials (ish) bike (Base TA26), although I've been very interested in it since last summer when I inherited a Merlin cross country bike, which I thought was a trials bike and it pretty much went from there. I go on OTN quite a bit, but theres not a lot I can do on there as far as talking to people goes. I thought this would be the more sensible place to spend my time, where I could talk to and maybe meet some trials riders from the same country as me at least, maybe the same area. Oh, I'm from a town called Chorley, in the northwest. It's kinda near Preston, and I'm about 5 minutes ride from Tarty Bikes if thats any help. One of my friends is the only other trials rider I know round here, its pretty crap. So yeah, I'm rather glad I've actually registered. I've been lurking for a while, I only just decided to actually register though. Looking forward to being a full member!
