  5. as above does the colour come off because my friend has had an echo rim ungrinded at the back and it hasnt come off for a long time but some one said (i think it was OBM) that theres came off in one day. thanks JK

  8. i was riding my friends bike today and i was just pulling the lever on his hope disc brake but when the disc is at one point the lever is harder to pull then when i moved the front wheel to another positon the lever goes soft its like soft the hard, soft then hard but then it just went soft permantly anyone else have this problem? my friend said the "tpa" the little screw came loose but this should happen right? thanks JK
  9. it will matter when you get better. when you start front wheeling and tapping. you dont want a crap hub with shitty flanges, shite bearings. it may cause a serious accident. JK
  10. royal mail are ahving some sort of new system and this has caused problems for alot of post. i sent some stuff to my uncle 1st class and it took 4 days. JT sent me some washers and they came ina bout a week and a bit. JK

  12. i want to have silver showing through the holes of my rim but the only thing i can think of is kitchen foil with the original rim tape behind it to hold it down. anyone got any ideas? thanks JK
  13. right, i want a grind on my new bike but i want a fairly harsh grind. someone said you should really dig into it and someone else i know said u shold do it lightly so the grinder "bounces" off the rim and creata better grooves. so all i need to know is what angle to hold it at and how hard to do it? thanks very much im sorry if theres lots of posts about this but theres too many posts to look through JK

  17. hmm..i know someone who has black echo front and rear rims with no grind, using rim brakes and it hasnt rubed off and hes had the bike for about a year! he uses zoo pads and bit of tar JK
  18. sorry to steal your thread but i will make it quick say i had a polished frame and theres a few light scratches on it, can i somehow get rid of them? how do i do it? doi just polish it? but how? lol thanks JK

  21. just let down my tyre so i can grind m rim, did that and now i realise i have no pump to inflate my tyre back up quite a good grind though, should be LOUD! JK
