  1. just had to put a 16t freewheel on, so now i'm 22 16 (untill the tryall comes out) only had a play, but its a well wierd gear, ok for gaps and ups, surges and stuff are a bit off, and on natural i think it would be a severe disadvantage.
  2. yer, i'll have a bike! i'll get the train to shrewers at 7 and arrive 9ish or get the 11 and arrive 1ish
  3. i'm buying dan clarkes bike for 300 quid soon, saving saving saving my way to an xc bike.
  4. Yea, theres usually some squish, but you should be able to feel a definate stop when the pads hit the rim. The likelyhood is that you do need a reblead, as lots of air in the system can make you brake feel horrible.
  5. The 30" risers are really really comfortable bars. they have a pretty good strength to weight ratio aswell. The slightley wider bar gives you way more control over the bike, it feels funny at first but once you get used to the width they just feel great.
  6. I really, really like my giro xen, its the most comfortable helmet i'v ever owned. they are a little out of some peoples price range, but for the comfort and protection they are second to none.
  7. Hey chris, could you be a little more specific with your post please, that way i can try and help you a bit more. Do you like short bikes? Whats your price range? All that sort of thing. Hope that helps.
  8. He's changed the picture, I'm guessing someone sent him an email about it.
  9. You shouldn't let your age restrict you! It may take you a little longer to learn the basics, but i think the learning is what makes trials so much fun!! Keep at it and soon you'll be flying!!
