Is It Hard Or Not

Recommended Posts

It depends on what freewheel it is? ACS claw needs a 4 pronged remover tool, but its still a nightmare to get off. I usually end up destroying it in the process. Tensile for example has the Shimano splined removal tool that fits in it which usually causes no fuss. Depends how much you wanna keep the freewheel.

Cheers

It is very hard if you want the freewheel intact.

1.Put the crank arm in a vice.

2.Clamp the tool onto the freewheel so it wont round it off if it slips out.

3.Get the biggest scaffolding pole u can.

4.Then use some elbow grease and turn it.

Should work, thats what i do. :D
