my grinds usually last like 2 months before i grind it again.

but i do like them sharp, so i could leave that grind on for longer...

i used to use tar, but its nothing like a grind. it doesn't work in the wet too

hi could sombody explain what grind and tar is im guesing tar is tar of the roads? sorry for being a noob but im intrested lol

tar off the roads doesnt do much good, roofing tar is what you want (Y)

tar basically makes the pads stick better to the rim, increasing friction and braking power.

a grind is where you use a angle grind and skim the grinding disc along the rim.

this increases the surface area that the pads bite into making the brake more powerfull.

personaly i love tar, nice bite and reli nice loud sound. get the heads turnt :)

but the thing is it doesnt work in the wet :( ive just got a grind on rear and its amazing si little hasstle. i would advise tar on the front with smooth rims nice bite and strong hold especially with standard pads :)

cheers rob

p.s. i dont care wat other people think
