TrAsHeR Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 (edited) Ok i bought a brand new kmc kool chain and i was wondering if i could link it without the using the link with a chain tool and therefor it would be much stronger because when a chain snaps its the link. Nuckfut Posted December 18, 2007 Report Share Posted December 18, 2007 I very rarely use the masterlink that's included. Most often I just use a chaintool and put it together. I don't know absolutely, positively it's stronger, but I'd say it's a safe bet it is.
