I bet half those weights are wrong, and then you have to add on a bit more for extra bits like cables, grease, dirt etc. So I doubt it's under 7kg. Would be interesting to see one built up though.

Cables' weigh is included, grease is normally included in the parts' weighs too, and dirt is not much if you ride in good weather or indoor :shifty:

you forgot the tubes (250gr more)

i think a kamel 20" frame is more lite than a dob magnesium

You should have spent more time on reading my specs, inner tubes are included (2x90g).

Kamel frame is definitely not lighter than Dob, after all it's made of alu not magnesium.

Once you get a bike down to below 9/8.5kg, there's no real point IMO.

My bike rides super nice as it is, although some weight loss from the rear would be cool.

I wish I had bought a rear DOB rim instead of the Monty one. But meh, £10 extra for 50g saved.
