ECHO urban rims are good its not so much the rim that makes a strong wheel its the quality of the build u can get a great rim built by a poor wheel builder and the wheel will be crap and vice versa finding a good wheelbuilder is a must but as a rule echo urban rims are genrally quite strong and hold a grind pretty well

Oh, cool thanks a lot mate. I was thinking about an echo urban rim, but wanted everyone's opinions.

Thanks again, :)

Does it need to be Mod or Stock? Maggy or Disc? 32 or 36? What colour do you want? How much can you spend?

The 07/08 Echos seems really good at holding grinds and they're really strong, but I don't know how wide they are or whether they come in 32 and/or 36.

I've got a Monty TI on my Mod and it's been great for the past 9 months or so, I'm not that heavy on my bike though. I've also had an Atomz on my Stock since I bought it in August, it's really good, really stiff for a disc wheel, I've never used a Maggy on it though so I don't how well it holds grinds.

I've got an echo 08 out back of my stock, seems pretty good.

Yes definately wheel build quality is what sets a strong wheel apart from a weak wheel. more then anything else.

Having said that my grind has only lasted a week or two and it was a tarty one :( guess my grinder will get some more use

oh and they defiantely come in 32h in any colour but 36h is black only. and its 46mm.
